"But I am ready."

It was so easy to say, something she hadn't thought possible. Being with James made her have doubts about meeting someone worthy, someone who knew how to love truly, wholly, passionately and yet... Now, she was so sure and all she wanted was to be with him, in every way possible. With the tips of her fingers, she touched the skin of his cheeks and moved to caress his messy curls she loved so much. Unable to fully help herself, she felt her neck craning up to capture his lips. The kiss made her feel delicate and innocent, but she was ready to feel something so much deeper. "Show me," she whispered into his lips before parting his mouth. "Show me love."

If anyone was going to be with her in this way, it could only be Xander. With a lusty breath, she deepened the kiss and pulled him by tangling her fingers in his languid curls.

“I want you to be ready…” He said softly as he kept his eyes on her. “I mean… both of us. I just feel scared in case you think that… you know… just because its happened to me lots of times and all… I don’t want it to be like that. I want it to be how people in love always describe it to be. One of the things was being ready and all… oh, i’m rambling, aren’t I?” He chuckled as he shook his head.

"I have never had sexual relations with anyone before. I have been waiting for the right person and the right time because I didn't want it to be with just anyone. No, I want it to be with someone that I love and cherish, James was never that and nor will he ever be." She said as she leaned into his hand which grazed her cheek like a breeze. "You don't need to be embarrassed, Xander. This is only natural and I am honored you at least spoke to me about it."

Alexander watched as the balls materialised and floated in the air before them, and they instantly brought a calming light to the room which in turn made him smile as wide as he had in a long time. His eyes soon diverted from the small lights that joined them and instead he looked into her eyes, though it was as if nothing had changed; the light remained in her eyes, as did the smile on his face.

“I want us to stay here, for a start… I…” He bit his lip for a moment, wondering if he should be totally honest, and he thought he may as well; it couldn’t hurt, right? “I want to make you mine… you know?”

Scarlet pushed herself up and looked down at him, curious now. "No, go on. Please tell me because," with his hand in her hers still she placed another kiss on his skin and then moved to his side. "It's not too early and I love you. This feels right so I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make me yours, for good." Her eyes found his and locked with his gaze to show she meant every word.

As her eyes followed the lights, watching with a mild curiosity, she kept her ears open and his words caused the smile upon her lips to grow immensely. "If I had a choice, I'd never leave your side." In his hesitation, it brought up the idea of James and she knew she'd have to face him sooner rather than later to handle the situation on her hands. She couldn't be his prisoner any longer, not now that she had someone to love her unconditionally. Xander spoke once more and she turned her face to look over at him.

"How do you mean?" Scarlet used a hand to reach in between them to take his and lace their fingers together. She brought his hand to her mouth and gently placed small kiss there. "Am I not already yours?"

His lips touched to hers and she melted right into the soft embrace. When he pulled back from her lips, she bit on her lower one and nodded. "It is good and we are safe. We will always be safe as long as we have one another. I can't be without you." Scarlet rolled over and laid her body atop his with a soft smile. "Now that we are in this secret place, what else should we do?" As she waited for him to come up with something, she grabbed his wand since hers was back near her bed in this hospital wing. Silently she charmed a hundred tiny balls of light to float in the air above them.

It had been weeks of her endlessly sleeping and Madame Pomphrey was able to determine that she had drank a potion which would cause a self induced coma for three months, but they fed her a counter potion each morning and night to hopefully pull her out sooner. Each and everyday, Alexander came to…

Scarlet watched as magic transformed a wall and introduced her to a new place entirely. The smile on her lips broadened while he walked into the small, but perfectly cozy for two cove with pillows galore. Once inside, she peered over his shoulder and watched the bricks go back and seal them inside which she loved all the more. "This," she said as he set her down and she stretched out onto the soft pillows. "This is perfect just like you."

When he finished her stretch, she sighed in a deep relief and then looked at him through glossy eyes. "I love you, so much."

"Somewhere brand new to the both of us," she leaned up and whispered into his neck while nuzzling is soft and scruffy skin. As he walked with her in his arms, she inhaled his natural earthy scent and it brought her a warmth that she didn't understand, but she was learning too. Her lips brushed the side his neck, placing small pecks every once in a while before she looked up in his eyes and just blushed. "I would run away with you if you asked."

The blush crept across her face turning her the color in which was her name, but she didn't care. It was a glorious moment between them and she was madly in love with him, passionately crazy for this man she had grown to know and understand. "I missed you," she said as she leaned up and threw her arms around his strong neck, holding on and never letting go.

When she felt Xander kiss her forehead, her smile only brightened and she felt a comfort from him she had been missing for so long. Tentatively, she reached her hands up to wrap around his neck and with the little strength she had, she pulled him down to her side and leaned into him. "You, my dear sweet Xander, will never lose me. It's impossible. I am yours and yours forever." Her weak fingers sought his hand and latched around it loosely, just wanting to touch him as she had desired all those months.

A shuffling sound came from the office of Pomphrey, but Scarlet was feeling rather rebellious. "Take me away from here and love me. I don't give one damn what that woman has to say." Scar looked at her bedside and grabbed a few energy replenishing potions, pocketing them before turning back to him. "Quickly before she comes out of here," she whispered before leaning over to his the corner of his lips.

Waking Up

It had been weeks of her endlessly sleeping and Madame Pomphrey was able to determine that she had drank a potion which would cause a self induced coma for three months, but they fed her a counter potion each morning and night to hopefully pull her out sooner. Each and everyday, Alexander came to her bed and James never did. Why did it bother her so? That was something she was unsure of, but she was thankful just to have someone she loved around. Within the past week she had been able to touch him back gently with small pushes from the pads of her fingers, but nothing more. Save for today. As she laid in the bed, her eyes felt much lighter than they had in a long time. After a few moments of waking up from her nap, her eyes actually opened up and she looked at the ceiling of the Hospital Wing for the first time in a long time. In slow motions she moved her toes and fingers, feeling the stiffness there, but she could move. A small gasp passed through her lips as she smiled through her relief.
