What is so great about Glass Sword is that it’s only action and angst, with no in between and zero chill, zero relief. When you get a breath of fresh air after a heavy batlle, the angst is already waiting for you and drags you down so hard that you’d rather go back to life-threatening action and that captures exactly Mare’s conflict in this book and how terrible she feels about this. 5/5, perfectly done, Ms. Aveyard.
