How to regress (AGERE)?
🧸 1. Create a Safe Space
Find a private, quiet, and comfortable place.
Use soft lighting, cozy blankets, and items that feel safe.
If you have a caregiver (CG), let them know you're regressing. (If possible! some littles may be nonverbal <3)
🎨 2. Gather Comfort Items (Optional but Helpful)
Stuffies/plushies
Blankets or pacifiers
Sippy cups or bottles
Snacks (like applesauce, juice boxes, goldfish crackers)
Toys, coloring books, or sensory items
🎧 3. Choose Comforting Activities
Watch cartoons or kids’ movies
Color or play with toys
Listen to lullabies or soft music
Nap or cuddle with a stuffed animal
Use kids' apps or games
Talk in a childlike voice if it helps
🫧 4. Let Go of Adult Worries
Try to mentally "put away" responsibilities
Use affirmations like: "I am safe." "I don’t have to worry right now." "It’s okay to be small."
🛑 5. Set Limits
Set a timer if you have things to do later
Avoid regressing in unsafe or inappropriate environments
Practice self-care after regressing — drink water, reflect gently, and ease back into your usual mindset
Optional: Journaling or Memory Triggers
Some find it helpful to keep a regression journal or make a playlist of comforting songs, shows, or smells that help trigger the regressed mindset.
⚠️ Important Notes
Please keep an eye on yourself; keep safe when regressing.
Remind yourself: “It’s okay to need comfort.” There’s no shame in wanting to feel little or cared for.
You don’t have to “act like a child” — regression is about your internal experience, not outward behavior.
Everyone's regression looks different; there is no wrong or right way to regress.

As I am somewhat of a bigger voice in this community, I’d like to make something known.
Block lists can be helpful for letting people know when someone is being malicious in the community. That being said…
Accounts such as @/averyconcernedageregressor are incredibly disrespectful and harmful to the community.
There’s no evidence, and all comes across as a bitter tantrum. Especially targeting blogs who’ve called them out in the past. Slandering them because they rightfully disagree with what they do. Not to mention the underlying ableism towards padded regressors.
Do engage with the account as it is a waste, but just know that all of the “call outs” are not done with genuine concern. And have no real evidence.
I will never tolerate such behavior ever. Shame on the creator for not understanding what they do is wrong. Hopefully they can grown. But otherwise, don’t take their words to heart.
You are valid, you are loved, and there is nothing wrong with the way you cope. 💗

tiny babies need their rest !!!
bonus points if they try and resist it so hard that they end up throwing a fit and then fall asleep on their caregiver or in a silly spot

[TW for talk of needles] Tips for dealing with needles when little!
whether it's for a medical condition, hrt, regular shots, or anything else, needles can be very scary! we're on hrt and we were really afraid to start getting frequent shots and blood draws when we first started, so here's some tips that could help you!!
★ Hold a stuffie or something to feel while it's happening! having another sensation can help distract you from the pain.
★ Have a loved one come with you when getting your blood drawn if you can
★ Drinking juice or having something sweet afterwards can help keep your blood sugar up so you don't feel icky, and it's also a nice way to reward yourself
★ If you have regularly scheduled shots, have a plan to do something comforting afterwards, like watching your favorite movie or cuddling with a loved one
★ Plan to do something special after your blood draws too, like going to your favorite store or restaurant
★ you could try listening to some music or watching a show while it's happening to distract yourself, but that doesn't always help for everyone!
needles are really scary but I'm so proud of every baby for getting through it, because it's very important for your health ♡

oooo!! I'm not religious but probably Christmas because I love giving gifts and I would love to spoil a little with all their favorite things. making a ton of cookies with them and seeing them wake up in the morning with a big grin on their face would just be the best thing ever.

(Another) friendly reminder!
You are NOT a bad caregiver if…
You’re too exhausted, stressed, tired, emotionally unstable, just not feeling well enough to take care of your little!
You aren’t expected to be there for your little 24/7/365 on demand! You’re a person! You can care for yourself too <3
You also age regress (whether voluntary or not) and need a moment to regress yourself!
No one expects all regressors to be big 24/7! Just because you’re a big kid and are able to take care of others sometimes, doesn’t mean you have to take care of others ALL the time <3 you’re also still a kid.
You accidentally snap at your little
Accidents happen. You can apologise and make up for it. Mistakes are what make us human, imperfections are beautiful. Yes, snapping isn’t good— but that doesn’t make you a bad person.
You forget to remind your little about certain things
Again! Accidents happen! You didn’t mean to do anything, did you? Then let this be a lesson for next time! If you didn’t intend it, no need to beat yourself up for it.
You have absolutely no idea what you’re doing
We’ve all been there. The only way to learn is to try— It’s going to be scary, it’s going to be overwhelming, it’s going to be hard. But it will always get better eventually.
You have boundaries
Boundaries are what make relationships healthy! Any and all relationships need boundaries! I cannot stress this enough!!!! Aren’t comfortable with being called mommy? Say that! Aren’t comfortable with certain little activities? Say that! Your comfort matters here too!
You try your best
Your best is all that anyone can ask from you— there will be times where you don’t feel like you can give your best, and that’s okay too!!! Give however much energy you can, I assure you, your little(s) will appreciate this anyway!
As long as you don’t intentionally put your little(s) in harm or uncomfortable situations, you are doing a good job. Don’t worry <3

tips for regressors with periods!

keep your socks on, little one!
our feet are our temperature regulators! if your feet are warm, your body will be much warmer <3 being warm relaxes our muscles and promotes blood flow to lessen any pain!
try to sleep in a better position!
clutch a stuffie to your chest and sleep in the fetal position to reduce pressure on your back! or you can try to loaf like a kitty cat with a pillow under your chest and stomach!
drink warm beverages!
warm water is always a go-to, but there are yummier options too!
you can try ginger/chamomile/raspberry leaf tea (add honey to sweeten) if you like, or some warm angel milk <3 you can add a little bit of tumeric to your angel milk with a dash of cinnamon and the tiniest bit of black pepper to activate it (no, you can't taste the pepper! trust me!)
oh, and this is the perfect time to drink some hot chocolate as well! (try out dark chocolate if it isn't too bitter for you!)
please eat your fruits and veggies!
carrots, oranges, apples, mangoes, broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes, beans, peas, and lentils are some good options to incorporate into your diet! try making a yummy smoothie or adding a new veggie to your dinners <3
use a heating pad (be careful)!
you can use an electric one if you have one, but here are some more afforadable options:
- use a hot water bottle or thermos
- make a small pouch out of fabric and make sure the ends are fully glued/sewn shut! fill it with uncooked rice and secure the last opening. warm it up in the microwave for about a minute and boom! a reusuable heating pad <3
- dampen a washcloth and put it in a plastic bag. warm it in the microwave for thirty seconds and use it on top of a blanket or your shirt if it's thick enough!
- (last resort option) my laptop gets really hot when i play the sims because i have sooo many mods hehe, but i just make sure there's a barrier between my skin and the laptop and it works as a heating pad! plus, i get to play my games comfortably
overnight pads and period diapers!
i know many people dislike overnight pads because of how bulky they are, but they are a good alternative if you don't have access to or dislike diapers! they are mostly mess free and you don't have to get up often in the middle of the night! they are also really comforting if you like a little bit of padding when regressed.
period diapers are always a good option! they can be worn under flowy skirts and dresses and aren't as noticeable as other types of diapers! they are really comfy too!
warm baths!
bring in your favorite toys, your bubbliest soaps, and your favorite tunes! just make sure your bathwater isn't too hot, okay? i recommend adding a little bit of coconut oil into the water to make your skin super soft!
if you are experiencing dry skin or have eczema, try an oat bath! you can use a food processor to ground up oats so they dissolve in the water, or you can pack some oats into a clean sock/tights, tie off the end, and let it soak in the water!
