I wonder how people find good caregivers... it's just so much trust to place in someone! To have someone to coddle and look after you when you're small... And there are so many more regressors than caregivers... I am not sure if I'd want one since I'm such a big and independent kid, but I sometimes wonder how much of that sentiment is just not feeling open enough to trust someone to respect me in such a state.

When I try and imagine my ideal caregiver figure, the most concise way to describe that vague idea is a "hand that feeds the mouth that bites it". If that makes sense.

I've seen "I don't know how to play with toys anymore" a few times lately and just wanted to point out-

Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!

Playing with toys can look like: 🧸🪁🚂

Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them

Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair

Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc

Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys

Dressing or accessorising your toys

Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc

Drawing your toys

Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly

Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc

Feel free to add your own ideas

Wanting to post more, have just been feeling quite shy... a lot of regressors on here have such low little ages, I do feel a bit out of place sometimes being more of a "middle" or "big brother" for my regressions. Especially since sometimes that regressed age would fall into the range that some users of tumblr physically are, given how many teens are on here... it just makes me feel a bit awkward, you know?

At least in good news, I'm finally about to have a playroom again! I'm so excited to help decorate it and move my toys! I'm hoping it helps me feel more bold on here.
