Would like to make it ABUNDENTLY clear that Ao3 does NOT have an algorithm of ANY kind. So to the wattpad refugees please, please tailor your use of the site appropriately. Ao3 is a repository for fan works, and fan works only, there is no algorithm, and readers find the content they want through the tagging and filtering system.

Would recommend reading up on their FAQ page which you can find here.

(The over reliance on algorithm feeds for content discovery and creation is the worst thing to have ever happened to the internet and I hate it. Also, an obligatory fuck capitalism.)

Yes, another Clint fan! Thank you for the request, nonny! I'm sorry to give you something sad, but I just really wish we could have seen more of Natasha helping Clint after the Battle of New York. I mean, really, he must have been so messed up afterwards. Thank God for fanfiction giving me the recovery I need. Not enough shows/movies have the time or inclination to show us the healing process after something traumatic.

Also, I like to pretend the other Avengers movies after the first one never happened. What farm? What family? Nat and Bruce, what? I don't think I've heard of Endgame. I have no idea what you're talking about. ;)

Iron Man 1 really said "the actual bad guy is the white capitalist who is selling arms under the table to both sides in order to extend the war and make as much money from it as possible," and Iron Man 2 really said "the white capitalist who gives a platform to people with bad intentions in order to make a buck is the reason the bad intentions have the opportunity to prosper and cause untold damage," and Iron Man 3 really said "the real terrorist is the white capitalist who will create and use fear to manipulate governments and the public in order to sell a product," and I really don't think enough people recognise this.

5 years of avengers endgame and I still stand by my belief that vormir could've been about intention

gamora rejected thanos’ reveal of his love, it WAS abusive her whole life yet it worked? regardless of thanos' feelings it was still SELFISH, he literally threw her off the cliff just for power, and it took no regard for how gamora felt into the equation (and I do enjoy a tragedy sometimes, but oof it hurt)

but then you had clint and natasha, who were literally SELFLESS love despite there being a request for power too. the mutual love could've been an interesting unknown, a saving grace of a loophole. they could’ve fallen together & been two halves of the stone, clint wakes in the pool, we think the worst until he hears water shift behind him & turns to find natasha there looking equally shocked & let them reunite so powerfully & emotionally

two entirely different displays of love that would've been cool if treated differently if the former was allowed to work, even just out of creativity. the helpless situation in endgame was interesting but the same result twice was a tired thing
