The new rules have been put in place after parents complained. The screen time has increased due to online classes. The parents claimed that schools have been trying to conduct online classes in the same fashion as pre-Covid times.
This decision will impact over 240 million children enrolled in the schools that remain closed because of COVID -19.
Titled “PRAGYATA“, directions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD ) proposes cap on the duration and number of online classes or sessions a day for students from Class 1 to 12th. Board has issued directions to school under digital education, they have to follow following steps of online learning –
Plan, Review, Arrange, Guide-talk, Assign, Track, and Appreciate.

Nikita with a score of 97.2 percent in Arts was the school topper. Sonali Gupta was the Commerce stream topper with a score of 96 percent. Krishna Goyal did well as he scored 93.8 percent to top the Non-Medical stream. Riya topped the Medical stream with 87.2 percent.

Result of 400 students could not be released on the basis of alternative assessment scheme and will be announced later. CBSE said individual results are being sent by the SMS and emails available with the Board.
The HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal congratulated students. In his tweet , the minister wrote “Dear Students, Parents and Teachers! CBSE has announced the result of class 12th and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in.We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate the Student’s health and quality education are our priority.”

For the session 2019 – 2020, CISCE will not release the merit list due to exceptional circumstances. This year, students will get digitally signed mark sheet after 48 hours of the result declaration. They can download their mark sheet from DigiLocker App to obtain their mark sheet.

CBSE announced the reduction of the syllabus of classes 9th to 12th by up to 30 % for the academic session 2020 – 2021 because of the disruption of academic schedule caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Board has released the revised syllabus for these classes which will be the only portion to assess students for the academic session 2020 – 2021.

The COVID-19 lockdown has closed schools and colleges all across the world as a result education has changed dramatically. There is a distinct rise of online learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on the digital platform. Globally, over 1.2 billion children are out of the classrooms. Hundreds and thousands of students are glued to a computer or smartphone screens as the teachers take to the online apps for the lectures, assessments and tutorials.

CBSE directed schools to promote all students of classes 9th and 11th to the next grade 10th and 12th irrespective of any conditions. Till now schools were directed to promote students on the basis of internal assessment, in combination with online and offline assessments. But to the relief of students now irrespective of cumulative results all students will be promoted to the next grade without any examination and none will be failed at all.

The Supreme Court approves the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) appraisal plan to assess the performance from already conducted exams and declare CBSE board result 2020 for Class 10 and Class 12 students. The CBSE on Friday apprised the court that the CBSE Board Result Exam 2020 would be announced by July 15. The CBSE likewise describe the scheme depending on which it will proclaim results.

On Thursday, June 25, 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Examination gave the decision and scrapped the pending exams of class 10th and 12th. Earlier CBSE board exams were rescheduled for conduction between July 1st to 15th.

Recently, the board had declared that outstanding exams will be directed from 1 July 2020 till 15 July 2020. Moreover, to facilitate the assessment procedure and keep up social removing standards, the board has added 10,000 new focuses to the current 3,000 assessment habitats the nation over.

the main paper of Class 12 will be of Home Science (first July). As indicated by the new CBSE tenth date sheet 2020, the primary paper is of Social Science subject (first July 2020) and the last paper is of English (fifteenth July 2020).
