i just realised.

I’ll never get to see them save Wolfgang, I’ll never get to see Kala and Wolfgang finally make it to Paris, I’ll never get to see Nomi and Anamita get married, I’ll never get to see Lito finally make it as a big movie star in hollywood and his love for Hernando, I won’t ever get to see how Will finally takes down whispers, I won’t get to see Ceapheus make changes to the world and his own city and I won’t get to see Sun finally be happy, finally be away from the destruction of her brother, finally be happy with mun. I won’t get to see any of it, and my heart is breaking.

The chuckle Wolfgang held back, Lilli did not, and wouldn’t have minded if he hadn’t either. It’s cut off mid-breath as her cut lip pangs, reminding herself it’s there. Keeping her tone light, she shrugs a little. 

      ❛ Oh, you ARE the one who gets into fights, I just got into ONE fight. ❜ While she wasn’t sure what she was expecting, and while it took her by surprise, Lilli was more than fine with Wolfgang cleaning her up. Even if she did pause longer than necessary before answering his question. 

    ❛ A silent situation, I think. For now. ❜ Lilli traced her lip with her tongue, feeling the extent of the damage, wincing a little.

        for a moment, careful fingers press around the blood, trying to clean up as much as possible without touching her lip, before pulling away to allow her to speak. a smile pulls against his lips as she confirms his own habits, a puff of air slipping through his nose as he watches her.      '    hey, i started with one fight.    '      eyes lower to watch her tongue move against the open cut, his head shaking as he watches her wince    (    something so small, he only noticed because he remembered himself doing it once or twice    )      '    don't touch it, it'll make it worse.    '      his words are precise, but soft as he brings the towel back up to her lip, pressing against the edge of the cut, trying his best not to hurt her.

    ‘ hey, it— it’s okay. we don’t have to talk about anything. we could— could talk about nothing. or just– just not talk at all. that’s a plan too. or i could talk enough for the both of us– wait, i’m probably already doing that. um… ’ there she went with her own nervous babbling with her hands fidgeting on top of the table between the two of them. she did that a lot when she didn’t know what else to do– that, or she was just really really quiet. people skills weren’t really something she had a lot of practice using while growing up, as she’d been far too shy. now the awkward tension seemed to be the main consequence of said shyness.

        he felt his lips twitch up for a moment, his eyes moving slightly towards jan, but never fully looking towards her. he wondered if he'd ever be able to open and honest with someone.      '    you're not talking too much.    '      was all he could manage, to turn the conversation away from himself, to focus on anything else other than the weird feeling in his chest.
