             ❝ I thought you wanted to impress me. ❞

   Here, he merely lowers his gaze.                 There is a long moment that passes them; it is bathed                 in silence is drenched in hot tension that radiates from                 Edward's very being in waves.              Then, slowly, a blade is brought forth to rest upon the doll's plastic              anatomy. It rests there a moment before he exerts a minuscule amount              of force, bladed fingertip piercing the thing delicately into it's center.

             ❝ stab the barbie, edward! ❞

              strolling was not a common activity the raven                           chose to partake in — but on such a cold and                           eerie night as this,         it would simply be a                           CRIME to say indoors!   and perhaps, if one                           listened for her, you’d hear a wavering cry of

                               ❝ηєνєямσяє….❞

         & oh, did he   h e a r   .                    The creature's ample eyes are brought steadily about him, in search                    for the sound. Long blades -- glittering against the pale light graced upon                    the earth by luna's very face -- whisper metallic secrets into the wind of                    the darkened streets.             Where did this cry originate?                                  Whom was it' source?

[ aurora ] :

              ❝ Do you want to take a walk with me, Edward ? I don’t think I’ve been outside in a while. — Oh, I’ll bet the flowers look even lovelier up close ! ❞

       Edward's visage acquires a new luminescence unto its pallid complexion. Chocolate doe-eyes grow slightly more ample as it shifts from the beauty outside & unto the grandest pulchritude inside.                                    ⊰ ✄ ⊱ - - - ; ❝ I would like that very much. ❞

              She offers a hand                                            ❝ Friends? ❞

     The creature nods, smiling slightly as he begins -- uncertainly -- to offer a bladed appendage in return; though it's undoubtedly clear how weary he is of injuring her.

             ❝ Oh come on! How boring can you be! ❞

        & here, all the creature has to offer is but an extensive silence.

     The leather-clad being swallows, eyeing briefly the fae’s angular visage before slowly backing away. The suddenness of which he was addressed had sent his heart racing, and elongated, steel digits twitched uncomfortably at his sides. Ample, doe-eyes blinked upon the maiden, though still as he began his retreat, dark lips parted to whisper:                                                                                       ⊰ ✄ ⊱ - - - ; ❝ I'm..      He blinks, falling motionless before the dark-haired maiden before him. Bladed appendages seem to burn at his wrists; a burden clad in metal that he is cursed with until the end of time.                                                      Yes, perhaps he is a monster.     ⊰ ✄ ⊱ - - - ; ❝ Y-yes.❞

     The creature’s breathing heaved inward and outward from his burning lungs, and his doe-like stare held for an extensive, agonizing moment as his body stiffened with panic. An overwhelmed scream was building in his gut, rising and rising into his throat as his blood turned to ice.               A partially-mechanical heart thundered against his strong rib cage; and though his body remained motionless, his eyes slowly turned unto the doll before him, sharp blades hovering over her plastic chest.                                 ⊰ ✄ ⊱ - - - ; ❝ ..No!❞ was all he managed to shout, nearly throwing himself away from the doll.
