the morning haze wasn’t as dense as usual, so i managed to navigate a space between incoherently sleep-talking and mid-buzz muttering Shakespeare during the usual morning escapades. i didn’t realize anything was out of place until the new ppl popped their heads in.

i didnt really notice things at that moment. but in looking back, prior affections had shifted. previous attachments felt less connected while the magnet of attraction seemed. strong. residual holiday sabbatical feels probably. or just meager attempts to haphazardly push polite and half hungover office cander on others. either way, putting yourself out there seemed to be the theme of the day.

i coordinated two projects and challenged two people to complete one of each. i learned in that moment that while I dont enjoy delegating, i do tend to lead. i created a system that can be learned through reams and reams of paper, all for the sake of consistent productivity, yet all the while taking satisfaction during it’s production. because the end result will be the same, but how you get there is what makes it worth doing again.
