Get out those weights! What are your interesting art practices? For years I've used my weights that I don't use to weight lift to apply pressure when I'm gluing something down. "Connected" is a 10 inch oil painting on aluminum. It's not finished yet, but it's getting closer. Everything seems to take longer these days. Whew! I won't sugar coat it, it's been hard to stay focused, for extended periods of time these days as well, and my heart hasn't been into the work these days. I was probably painting on this piece with a disgusted look on my face. I just didn't seem to like anything that I was doing. But I keep going nonetheless. ( Even if it's a crawl ) Sometimes that's all you can do, move forward. Inspiration will return, passions come and go.
