((Alright this is pretty out of nowhere due to being an impulse decision. I’m remaking the blog! As in like entirely remaking the blog from scratch. Tumblr is not letting me edit pages on this one, which is annoying and also will cause confusion due to having an about page for a muse I no longer intend to write. The new blog will be better set up and also have a new muse added! If you follow my main you can probably guess who that will be.

When the new blog is finished, I’ll link it here, as well as promo it elsewhere. Until then, just know work is happening! If you’re impatient and want to follow in advance, the new blog has the exact same name as this one previously did, scourge-of-stars, because I liked it and it sounds cool.))

Dark Matters who are far from Zero for a long period begin to take on different colors, but it takes longer for those who have been in close proximity. However, since Zero has died, all remaining matters and matterlings are beginning to take on color.

At this point in time, Dark Matter Swordsman has a bit of a purple sheen, but it’s only noticeable from certain angles and when enough light is present.

Well… it had been a long time coming. Between competition he couldn’t keep up with, a lack of customers, and the many issues that arise from being what he is, Reloh has been forced to close up his coffee shop. As much as he hated to accept it, he just wasn’t cut out for something like this. And yet, it had been his life for ages now. He’d made friends, enemies, and whatever falls between through this shop. He lived here, he worked here… his entire life had been centered around the place. The longer he looks at the building being emptied of its contents– he’d sold almost everything he had left inside, he desperately needed the money– the more memories arise in his mind.

For so long he acted as though this was his rock bottom, and he was just living in it. Now, he realizes, it was far from it. No, the real rock bottom is where he’s going next, wherever that may be. He really doesn’t know. As the group he’d sold the property to filed out, some giving him dirty looks, others refusing to meet his gaze, he decided it was time to leave. He wouldn’t be welcome here, now that he had nothing to contribute to the small town. He probably wouldn’t be welcome in any towns, come to think of it.

Just like that, he was back to square one. Or, maybe square two, square one was the Hyper Zone, and that isn’t a thing anymore. Whatever, he didn’t care. There was nothing for him to care about anymore. He’s really given up on everything now, including himself. The Dark Matter heads off towards the nearby woods, knowing he wouldn’t be returning to anything he knew.

Now, he had truly hit rock bottom. The question was whether he would try to claw at bedrock, or attempt to climb upwards. Only time will tell, and yet it seems time isn’t very talkative at the moment.

Don’t mind Reloh, he’s suddenly regretting his existence for some reason. At times like this wishes he could go back to being an emotionless drone, but also knows that’d be a bad thing for a multitude of reasons. Still, though, that awareness doesn’t keep the thought from coming up.

Too bad there aren’t any therapists that trust his kind enough to offer their services. He knows that it’s for valid reasons, but it still sucks to not really have help when he needs it.

The little mimic very much does still exist, but is also still quite wary of anything larger than them. It might take a bit of coaxing to be able to get close, and moreso to actually pet them. They’d probably like it though.

Permanent Starter Call

Alright, so, for those who don’t know, a Permanent Start Call is a post where, if you leave a like on it, it gives me the permission needed to @ you for random starters and such, be it crack threads, serious, whatever.

Of course knowing me if it’s serious I’ll still approach you in DMs too, but this basically says “Hey! I’m okay with threads being started or plotted between us whenever the mood strikes!”
