The following is a collection of statements, personal logs, and transcripts from the three original members of the SCP Foundation before it was [Data Expunged].
Excerpt from a Handwritten Journal Of: Dr. █████████
Date: July ██, 198█.
We were getting ready to run some tests on SCP-███. Then, alarms started going off. Site ██ was releasing a message; XK-Class End of the World Scenario. No one got information about what. Or how. Before we could evacuate, there was a screaming noise. The world went white. And when it all came back into focus, I was sitting at a desk. The computer had some random thesis on it. I was a teacher. A professor at [Data Expunged]. I’d thought about doing that job before the Foundation contacted me. I didn’t have anyone’s contact that I used to work with. It was like all of them were gone. If it weren’t for my ID Card… I would have thought I made it all up.
Official Written Statement Of: Mr. ██████████
Date: [Data Absent] 200█
I was going to go in and conduct some sort of experiment. I’m saving you the trouble of expunging the data for this since it’s not important. When the four of us were in the chamber, there was a bright flash. When it was done, I was sitting at home. And no, I don’t mean a cell. I was in a house. The charges against me had recently been proven false like I’ve been saying for years, and I was just home. I started to freak out. I mean, I’ve seen the things these freaks do. I thought this was just a trick. My wife starts asking what’s wrong. I ask if she knows about the Foundation. She looks like I’m finally losing it. I lied. I told her it was a dream. But I’m one of the only ones who remembered. I should have stayed as far away from you as I could. I shouldn’t even be here. I should be with my wife. I know what those things do, though. So I’m staying to make things a bit better for the boys in orange. Someone’s gotta look out for them. You guys sure as shit don’t.
Transcript of Interview Log 000 of: Officer ████████.
Date: July ██, 199█.
Dr. Stevens: Thank you for sitting down with me, Officer ████████.
Officer ████████: Yeah. Sure.
Dr. Stevens: Can you recount the events of July ██, 198█ for me?
Officer ████████: Ugh. Fuck.
[There is a pause for about two seconds, followed by a sigh. Officer ████████ speaks again]
The day started out like most do in the Foundation. I mean, for an officer. It’s different for you guys, right? Anyway. We check equipment, check-in with security personnel, et-Cetra. Then, all these alarms start going off. Apparently something went wrong. And I don’t mean a containment breach. I mean we royally fucked up.
Dr. Stevens: And how did that happen?
Officer ████████: Do I look like I know? All I knew was we had to start evacuating. Some were saying it wasn’t worth it. It was…
[Officer ████████ begins muttering under his breath]
Shit, what do they call it?
[Officer ████████ stops muttering]
Right. An XK-Class End of the World Scenario, or something like that.
Dr. Stevens: Ah. Right.
[There is a pause for approximately one second]
Dr. Stevens: The world didn’t end.
Officer ████████: That’s what makes this all so fucked. The world did end. One minute, I was getting ready to start blasting whatever object decided it would try to break containment, and the next I’m yelling at kids trying to join the army. The only thing between those two moments was a bright white flash.
Dr. Stevens: A flash?
Officer ████████: Look, I don’t know how else to describe it. That’s why you guys are here. You make sense of whatever weird shit these things do. I just point and shoot when needed. Well... That’s what I did. Now I’m one of the ones in charge.
[Officer ████████ lets out a nervous chuckle]
I never thought I’d be the one in charge.
Dr. Stevens: What happened after?
Officer  ████████: At first I thought it was a dream. I thought I’d just been knocked unconscious, or something. I went up to one of the guys I recognized from the foundation, and asked about the alarm. He looked at me like I was insane.
[Officer  ████████ is silent for two seconds]
Officer  ████████: I played it off; convinced him it was just a joke. He shrugged and left. I thought I’d dreamed up being at the Foundation. Then I found this.
[Officer  ████████ places an ID card onto the interview table]
Officer  ████████: That’s when I knew. We were lucky, this time. But I don’t want to know what might happen if this repeats itself.
End Transcript.

A new blog
Hi there!
This is an SCP Blog for a game that I’m going to be working on mostly by myself. Facility Zero (or Site Zero) is a project for me to learn how to make stuff in Unreal Engine, but I figure others might be interested in this SCP Universe AU. This post is quite long, so I’ll put a lot of other information under the cut.
TLDR: I’m making a game based on an AU for the SCP Universe. It’s a side project that I don’t intend to make money on unless people buy from the redbubble collection I made or donate to me directly. I’m not a game developer, so there’s no real structure for getting it going right now. I’ll be posting some original SCP ideas here as well as updated/AU versions of some classical ones. Direct links to the original works will be provided.
So, without further ado, here’s the first post! Here are a few answers to some potential questions:
What is this au?
There was an end of the world even that happend in the late 1980′s. SCP-001 reacted, effectively stopping the end of the world. The consequence? Three members of the original foundation managed to retain all knowledge of the Foundation, but all of the SCP objects were lost. They spent the next few years rebuilding the Foundation. Some of the former SCP objects they have been able to find, while others have taken on new identities. There are some new ones too (ones that I’ve come up with on my own).
How many people are working on this?
Just me (lilpuppyzizi) so far. I don’t know if I’ll bring others in.
What programs are you using?
Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI, and Unreal Engine are the primary products.
Can I help?
If you would spread the word about this blog, that would really help me stay motivated!
How much will this game cost when it’s done?
Nothing! :) This is a side project that I’m working on to learn Unreal. I don’t want to make money off of it, other than people buying art from my redbubble collection for the game. Or, if you want to just donate to me directly, send me a DM.
What do you have done so far?
Not much. I have the base idea for the universe, I have a few object ideas, and I have a logo for the new Foundation. I also have some railing done, a blueprint of the ground floor to the facility done, and a door object done. The door object is in Unreal right now, and opens when you hit E with a door sound effect. So uh. Yeah. Not much. I’ll be posting another update when I have something more significant, otherwise I’m just going to be posting the ideas for objects here for those who may want to read about it all.
If you’re so early in development, why make a blog?
I made a really neat logo. And I want a place that I can access easily to be able to have references to the stuff I write that isn’t google drive. I also want to get the word out that I’m doing something, so if people are interested can either ask me questions or like, follow it or something.
A few things to know:
I am not a game designer. I have a degree in 3D Animation. So I don’t know if I’ll have a development log right now. I have things that I want to get done.
I don’t know when I’ll have a demo available for people. Sorry!
As of making this post, I am unemployed. Because of that, I have time to work on this. But, if I get a job in my field, updates might slow down here on the game development side. I might still write lore stuff and post it here, but as of right now I don’t know.
