Exciting news! Our Reston Town Center store is moving in 2018.  We'll be open on Market Street through 4 pm on New Year's Eve, then striking the set for our move to 11911 Freedom Dr. (next to Wells Fargo through the lobby by Talbots).
It will take a little while to set up, so in January, please look for us at Reston Station and shop online. We've expanded our free delivery area to cover Sterling, Great Falls, and western Vienna, and you can also pick up holds at ArtInsights in Reston Town Center.
Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Facebook & Twitter for details about our grand re-opening in February.

Hey look, we're selling books! Check out our website for all our fall favorites. We recommend Lord of the Wings by Donna Andrews (along with a glass of wine and some sneaky dipping into the candy bowl) to keep you entertained through the trick-or-treat hours.

What do you imagine a bookstore looking like? These are some of our favorite inspirations.

Thanks!
Thank you all for your support and encouragement!  It has been fantastic. Please keep sharing and help us spread the word!
We have been mulling this endeavor since Barnes and Noble left early 2013.  We took the leap in March when Rachel quit her job as the Materials Division Chief (the folks who buy the books) of Arlington Public Library to devote herself full time to starting Scrawl Books.
We aim to create a real community bookstore with author visits, book groups and story times as well as a great selection of books for all ages and interests.
In the coming months we’ll use this page to keep you informed of our progress with the goal of opening in late 2015.
