ok i don’t really consider the TOA tie-in novels to be canon, but the idea of jim lost and alone in the woods, fighting angor, getting a new armor that gives him the bow & arrows, all while slowly and painfully transforming into his half-troll self and struggling with what that means for his humanity and his soul? *chef’s kiss*
