a little 👁👁 study with a small set of cheap oil pastels I got on sale a while ago (Sakura Cray-Pas EXPRESSIONIST). this is my first time trying oil pastels, and I'm surprised by how much I like them tbh. I think I'm gonna save up to get a nicer, bigger set of Mungyo's; I've been lusting after those ever since I thought abt trying oils, and I was inspired to finally take the plunge after watching a video by the absolutely amazing, extraordinarily talented and skilled blackbean!!! go watch him and bask in his awesome ♡♡♡

but I definitely need to practice more; I could not figure out how to do the iris the way I usually color them, so I got frustrated and just made it an alien eye 😅😅😅 whatevs, I'm just having fun with it.
