Scrooge when Harry and before his “life-changing field trip”:
Scrooge: Okay, well, that’s interesting! You know why?
Harry: Why?
Scrooge: Because…! *Runs away*

Update!
My mom commented on a since-archived video explaining “later never comes” in 9 seconds (with Helluva Boss audio) and um, I was told to “watch it”.
My response? Turn off the comments on that reel! Don’t worry, I’ll be fine (I probably won’t).
#instagram#I think turning off the comments on that reel was a bad idea#but I’m fine#scrooge a christmas carol#later never comes

How Jen’s Legacy Impacts Ebenezer’s Life
So I found this post that showcases the grief Scrooge felt when his sister died.
There’s a part of me that feels that the impact Ebenezer’s sister had on him has to be expanded upon. We know that he hates his nephew because he solely blames him for being the reason his sister is dead. But I think that is there more than just that.
Jen was an important part of his life as she was (and always will be) his sister. He cared about her and wanted to make sure she was okay. He was showing just how much he loved his sibling and how heartbroken he felt when she died giving birth to Harry.
Now, when Harry makes his toast at the party, he recalls her being kind-hearted and a good person. A personality trait Jen had was being kind-hearted. That brought to mind the same trait Isabel, Scrooge’s ex-fiancé, had.
Scrooge became engaged to Isabel because her kindness reminded him of his own sister. And just like how he was heartbroken when Jen succumbed to her illness and he was scared of losing her before that, he was scared of losing Isabel the same way he was scared of losing his sister when she was sick.
The reason for him hating his nephew was because he saw Jen’s face in his nephew, for Harry is Jen’s son and therefore the nephew. Scrooge saw his sister’s face in Isabel.
In conclusion, Scrooge’s grumpiness symbolically references that he still hasn’t forgotten about Jen’s death, he’s haunted by her demise. And that grief is so strong that he doesn’t even bother to even see eye-to-eye with his nephew and wouldn’t bother not having a single good interaction with him.
I love how he finally finds happiness at the end of the film, it shows that, while he has finally made peace with her demise, he hasn’t forgotten about her.
He has finally accepted that she’s not with him anymore, but knows that there’s a part of her that won’t be forgotten nor let go of: how kind she was to him. And how much her presence meant to him.
Thanks for coming to my TEDTalk.

I’m not really interested in the whole dilf thing, but this is entertaining
Happy first birthday to Hot Ebenezer Scrooge™️

I still cannot believe that’s a thing (okay I absolutely can), but, y’know, I’m definitely not complaining. Always good to have more DILF characters in the world.

He really brought out the best in this site✨
