Pianist Morgan Bouldin delivers an inspiring, soulful rendition of the classic song performed by a host of artists including Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight, but most notably by Bette Midler. His interpretation features a simple vamp a country-blues flavor and his soft touch propels the performance like a summer breeze. The music is peaceful but haunting and supports the notion that there is virtue in selflessness and honor, in sacrifice for the one you love.
