eh yeahhh ... thing is, i don’t even rly RLY want one anymore bc ive seen kids playing w them at my work place in a way that just makes them seem like the latest fad and iDk i HATE FADS????? also i went into a store the other day that sells a random mix of candy and toys and a guy came in asking for them bc his kids wanted some and him and the staff were laughing abt them bc ahahaaaaa kids and their crazy toys oMggggg how FUN thEY are!!!!! look at them playing w toys for idk .... what r they called again???? u know those disabled kids??????????????????? WHO CARES MY KID WANTS ONE OF THOSE tOYS FOR DISABLED KIDS AHAHHHHHAAAAAA only i had to bite myself and force myself not to cause a SCENE bc eeeeyyyy yo u better believe my bpd fucking brain wanted one of ‘em SCENES. it’s all chill. i got out of the store. but i’m still angry. and duuuude do i feel slighted

i can’t deal with this sudden interest in the fidget spinner outside of the stim/nd community? so many people are treating it as a fad, using them to do tricks, etc, when they forget what their main purpose is actually for.
it’s become a very dudebro thing to be into, and i can guarantee that a majority of these people who own them make fun of autistic/ nd people. it’s really not fair to take something meant for the disabled community and turn it into something so shallow.
of course, it’s ok to play w/ the fidget spinner (or any stim toy for that matter), as long as you bare in mind that its main purpose is for the disabled community’s use.
