I think that if they went on a date, Scott would start asking general get-to-know-you questions but BigB would become increasingly suspicious of each one until he excuses himself from the table to go use the restroom. And by that I mean he tries to squeeze through a vent in the ceiling in hopes that he can leave without hurting Scott’s feelings. After 20 minutes Scott is so sure that BigB ditched him that he checks the restroom to find a loose vent cover on the floor and knows exactly what happened. He is deeply perplexed by this but beyond calling Cleo to bitch about it and then relaying the entire story to the nearest unrelated employee he decides he doesn’t actually care but he does bring up having to pay BigB’s bill afterwards every time BigB is around or even comes up in conversation. (He was going to pay for it anyways but it’s about the principle.) BigB denies the date ever happened.
