This past week in France, I made a goal that I would have a true Cantillon lambic in Europe. Upon much research I found his bar that I believe would’ve had it. Jade and I went there on our last day, wishing and hoping they would have it. As I told the bar tender, he gave me a strange look and said ahh Cantillon I see, I might have 1 bottle left. Then behind the bar opens up a door on the floor and disappeared like Austin Powers down the stairs lol. Thankfully he had this one bottle left that was blended with cherries. Oxnard is where they’re from...and the name of this beer! By the lovely people at @casa_agria I present, a great hazy pale ale. Perfect cloudiness and great bright color to it. With so many double hazy IPAs now-a-days, it’s great to have a great well rounded hazy pale ale without the higher ABV and hop bitterness. Good citrus and heat mouthfeel that’s well rounded with a little hop bite that isn’t over powering and dries out your palate a touch. Great beer on a hot day!
