"Fuck ICE"

There were gestapo raids at a Home Depot on Friday, and when the community showed up to protest, ICE escalated by firing pepper balls at them. The LAPD and sheriffs told them they were on their own, so they kept acting like goons.

Saturday and Sunday people gathered downtown to protest. Some Waymos were caught in the crossfire and this time LAPD escalated by firing rubber-coated bullets and other munitions at people, resulting in them responding. People of all races and creeds were protesting, and it was fairly isolated to DTLA, and there was music, flags of different kinds, and all kinds of stuff.

The city is fine and everyone is pretty much acting like it's any other day. LA is not on fire. The fascist pigs are unwanted and being shown so. The military doesn't need to be here, other than to stroke the ego of the grotesque inhabiting the White House right now, and all of the fascist bootlickers who support this and are lying about what's happening in LA can get fucked.

That's what's happening.

It feels difficult for me to get a handle on what is actually going on in LA, more difficult than it seemed for the events of 2020 even.

The National guard is being deployed to Los Angeles to support ICE.

ICE and the LAPD have been firing rubber bullets directly at protesters and utilizing weapons like tear gas.
