On #thisdaylastyear I was laying in a hospital #🏨 bed #🛌 waiting for MRI results #🔬 that would determine if I was about to lose my leg and/or foot #👟 from a deadly flesh-eating bacteria #⚰️ I caught from using a hot tub #🛀 while I had a scratch on my foot #🧦 Maybe it was the 103+ fever #🤒 but I went through every stage of grief 😧😤😭🤥🤭🤔😌 in the hours awaiting my foot’s fate. I was one of the lucky ones and in abt 2 months I was able to walk on both feet again #👣 Just about every day something comes up that reminds me how grateful i am. One year later and today I did squats at the gym #🏋🏼‍♂️ walked around #WestHollywood & just completed a hike in #ColdwaterCanyon w/ this pup #🐶 where we passed an #amputee doing the same #trail w/ breeze.
