First Day at the 'Catffee Coffee!

Daisy woke up to her alarm at 7 a.m. sharp. She wasn't a morning person, but how could she be groggy and grouchy when her cafe's grand opening was today?

Excitedly, she got herself ready and dressed before rushing to her cafe, which she had built along with her house on her modest plot of land. Once inside she greeted Corn, Tomato, and Cherry, refilled their food bowls, and tidied up whatever her anxious mind felt needed tidying.

Then, at 9 a.m. it was time.

Daisy flipped the sign on her door and turned on the neon lights. 'Catffee Coffee' was officially open for business!

For the first hour or so there were no customers. Daisy didn't let this get her down, however. 'Catffee Coffee' was a new establishment and the only marketing she'd in the time leading up to its opening, was from word of mouth.

Eventually, though, people grew curious and wandered inside. Daisy greeted each customer with a warm smile, taking and preparing their orders, before sending them on their way with a "Come back soon!"

Things were going....well...

Ok, she was struggling a little bit, but it was just the fact that she was handling everything herself.

While Daisy had worked in cafes before, she had only worked one position at a time, having coworkers who would pick up her slack when need be. At the 'Catfee Coffee' however, she was working every station at once.

The line got long at times, but thankfully, no one was especially upset, seeing that she was the lone employee.

Across the 'Catffee Coffee', sitting at one of the couches playing with Cherry, was a man in a gingham shirt. He had come in to see what all the fuss was about.

Looking up, the man noticed the barista. Even from afar, he couldn't help but be attracted. Her smile sent butterflies flying through his stomach. He figured that he'd go say hi and get her number. Standing, he gave himself a pep talk. Chicks couldn't resist him and he was practically the hottest and coolest guy in town.

With these "facts" in mind, he headed on over to the register.

The man decided that she was even prettier up close. She had a round, almost heart-shaped face, that was framed by her long curly black hair. Big viridian green eyes sat on honey skin, surrounded by a rosy blush.

For a moment he couldn't help but stare.

Then her eyes slid over to his and he realized that he needed to say something or else he'd come across as weird.

He opened his mouth to introduce himself and ask for her number.

But instead-

"Hey gorgeous, can I get an iced Americano with an extra shot of expresso!"

Nailed it!

Daisy was cringing internally. There was no way this guy came up to her and said that.....

And he'd said it so confidently too, brushed his hair back and everything. She was embarrassed for him.

".....Coming right up"

She gave him a slightly strained smile before turning and preparing his drink.

Once the Americano was finished she handed it to him and said her usual send-off.

However, the man opened his mouth as if to say something. Daisy raised an eyebrow when he paused. She was going to ask him what he wanted to say when another customer came up and began speaking to her. She turned away to answer their question and take their order.

By the time she turned back to the man in the gingham shirt, he was gone.

Shrugging Daisy got started on the next order.

Hours later, Daisy was closing up shop.

She hummed as she cleaned up; washing dishes, throwing away trash, and wiping surfaces.

All in all, her grand opening had gone well! Though things had gotten hectic here and there, she had done it! And she'd done it well if she did say so herself!

There was a *knock*.

Daisy turned to gesture to the closed sign on the glass door, but she stopped when she saw who it was.

Lighting up, Daisy jogged to the door and opened it. Letting out a squeal she jumped at Saige who caught her with a squeal of her own.

The two hopped around together for a bit, letting out excited noises. Eventually, Daisy rushed Saige in, passionately telling her about her day.

Saige had briefly stopped by while the cafe was open, but couldn't stay too long due to an upcoming class. She congratulated Daisy, giving her another hug, and the two finished cleaning up the cafe while chatting and listening to music.

And thus concluded Daisy's first day at 'Catffee Coffee'.

'Things can only go up from here', she thought.

Making this cafe a cat cafe!

Finally! Daisy had her cafe built and furnished, with fresh coffee grounds and treats on the way. But she didn't want to manage just a cafe, she wanted a cat cafe. Which meant that it was time to meet her new furry friends!

With a couple calls and a few papers signed, she was bringing home three adorable kittens!

The first was a little white cat that was fairly tolerant of her pets and cuddles. She preferred to be left on her own but got along well with Daisy and the other kittens. Daisy named her Cherry!

The next kitten to be named was a black kitten with a feisty but loving personality. At first, this kitten preferred to be the one to initiate pets and did not care for cuddles at all. Later, however, he became the most affectionate of the bunch! She named him Tomato!

Lastly, was the smallest of the three, a black and white kitten that immediately warmed up to Daisy. This kitten was the most spoiled of the bunch, constantly climbing onto Daisy's lap and wanting to be held as well as hogging the food bowls. Daisy named this little guy Corn!

Now that Daisy had the stars of her cafe, 'Catffee Coffee' was open for business! She couldn't be more happy, it felt like her dreams were finally coming true. That night, with a sigh filled with clouds and stars, Daisy laid down to get some rest for tomorrow's grand opening.

Before I move on to what I have so far of the story I need to introduce our next sim!

Meet Sage Ricter! Sage is a (usually) bubbly girl who is the textbook example of "girls just like to have fun"! She is the type to go with the flow, not being one to make plans before jumping into something. Despite her bubbly persona Sage loves to sleep, leave her alone with nothing to do for too long and you'll come back to her snoozing wherever you left her. Sage is the friend who will keep it real with you no matter what but will also be your biggest supporter!

Sage lives in San Sequoia and is currently a part-time worker cleaning pallets at her community college. Sage met Daisy while she was still setting up her cat cafe. They became fast friends in the months that it took Daisy to open her cafe, and now Sage visits her at least twice a week!

Sage has no real plans for life after graduating college, other than getting a real job of course. But even then, she's not fully sure what she wants to do career-wise either! Her parent, who has been helping her pay tuition, have been hounding her about it, though, especially since Sage is going to be graduating soon. So that's her "goal" for the year, figure out what she's gonna do after graduating. But... easier said than done, right?

Aaaah, my first Tumblr post!!

I'll mainly be posting Sims 4 content! And starting off is the main sim in my new save!

This is Daisy Burke, she is 23 years old and has just moved to San Sequoia to pursue her dreams of opening her own cafe, a cat cafe to be specific! Daisy lives with her head in the clouds, a dreamer to her core, but when she decides on something, she'll laser focus on making it come true.

Now that Daisy has opened her cat cafe and settled down into her new home, it's time to see what her new life has in store! Will she make new friends? Find a love interest? Will her cafe stay afloat? I guess we'll just have to find out!!

My gameplay is mostly wants and autonomy-based, this means that I will typically let my sims make their own choices. So I will be updating here when I feel that something of note has happened! I don't really have a complete story/plot laid out and this account is just for fun and maybe for any poses that I decide to make for the public!
