percy jackson hollywood au

PERCY :

unlike most children, percy never wanted to be famous. sally was the maid of celebrities and he often saw first-hand how it was such a toxic lifestyle. that all changed when sally fell sick and there was no way they could pay her medical bills

paul, sally’s friend and one of her bosses, offered percy a job at his media company. he was originally just an assistant but during a red carpet, they were running low on reporters and he was given a mic and told to interview celebrities

he was a natural and it didn’t take long for him to blow up. he was only twenty-one when he was offered to host his own talk show. he accepted and his talk show was a big hit

his very first guest was hazel levesque, a former child star that was in the middle of a big trial. many people thought she was crazy for the trial but her interview with percy helped change a lot of people’s perspective

his most “iconic” guest was perhaps annabeth chase. she was a bigshot actress. they knew each other from childhood since sally was athena’s maid for a few months. their reunion, which was televised, went viral. people started shipping them like crazy

they did end up dating but they never confirmed it. annabeth is very quiet about her love life on social media and percy wasn’t the type of show off his relationship. the only things they ever confirmed was their engagement and wedding

percy’s talk show is still popular and he’s often compared to ellen. there was one episode where they teamed up and the episode was a big hit

percy still sends money over to sally, who’s now a published author and happily married to paul. percy’s really happy to see all that he accomplished and he’s even happier to have a little sister who he adores

ANNABETH :

she grew up in the spotlight. her mother was a producer for a lot of big time movies and athena even went on to direct. she always pushed for annabeth to become a hollywood star and annabeth hated it

her first role was when she was seven. she was playing a young psyche in a rendition of cupid and psyche. she didn’t have that many lines but her cute appearance was enough to skyrocket her into fame

her first big role was when she played the character of katie mellows, a sweet character who switched bodies with one of the meanest girls in school. this show really helped show her versatile acting and it wasn’t long before annabeth was on the stage winning awards

she was never the star to date around and it was a surprise to many when she started dating luke castellan. they were rather different, with her title as america’s sweetheart and his title as hollywood’s player. they went on to date for a year and there were a lot of ups and downs

luke was always trying to blackmail her and annabeth did her best to fight back but to no avail. annabeth eventually got the courage to leave luke and she even went on to publically say the truth about their relationship. it didn’t take long until luke was behind bars for having child pornography on his phone. annabeth had found out that luke was tricking rising teen stars by seducing them and promising them fame and fortune. she had taken action and many saw her as a hero

annabeth swore off dating for a while, though she ignored how rumors circulated about her and percy. the two started dating a few years after their reunion and they’ve been going strong ever since

annabeth quit acting after a while, focusing on her directing. she misses it from time to time and started to take smaller roles in tv shows

JASON :

he got famous from a meme

he was a news reporter, often reporting the weather. someone took a screenshot of him, captioning it “the weather may be a little bit drier than usual but he sure makes me wet”. this lead to people making thirst memes out of him. it was enough for him to appear on percy’s talk show

percy and jason hit it off and became fast friends. that’s how he met his manager. she offered to find him a contract and he drunkenly agreed. the next morning, instead of waking up to a naked body, jason woke up with a text saying that someone offered a modelling contract to him

he wasn’t going to accept until his sister, thalia, pushed him to. jason signed the contract and that’s how he met piper mclean. she was the best photographer for the company and she was seriously pretty. it was love at first sight for him

when she saw he was from the meme, she burst into laughter. apparently, piper mclean was an avid follower of memes and she pulled out her phone and showed him her own version of the meme. jason was blushing so hard that he gave tomatoes a run for their money

his first modelling gig was for an upcoming clothing company. though he wasn’t a natural, jason quickly got the hang of it but he still felt really awkward

but he continued to model, seeing as it made good money. he never really made it to the top but he was well-known enough that he had enough money to support himself and to save some money for the future

PIPER :

her mother was a big model and her father was a very famous actor. piper grew up in the spotlight and it wasn’t long before she was modelling on her own. she continued to model until she was fifteen, where she got into a big fight with aphrodite and tristan about her career

she won the fight and she took her savings and moved in with annabeth. athena loved piper and understood that she wanted to be out of the spotlight. piper started homeschooling and as time wore on, she grew bored

she picked out photography as a hobby. annabeth was always her model and annabeth’s instagram was filled with photos of her that were shot by piper. when she was eighteen, piper was offered a job at ‘dare models’ as a photographer. she accepted without a thought

her first official model was drew tanaka. drew was a model for aphrodite’s line and the two knew each other. piper hated her. but she still did her job and she did it well. the company was very impressed with her work and it didn’t take long before she was promoted

piper kept climbing the ladder and was eventually promoted to lead photographer. she was only twenty-two. her first job was to photograph a new model, one that mr. dare promised would be the best of them all

it was the meme guy. piper nearly choked when she saw who it was. she burst out laughing and showed him the meme she had made. he blushed so hard that she was surprised that he wasn’t some type of tomato

the two of them exchanged phone numbers and they hit it off. but they never really stated they liked each other. it took leo for them to confess

FRANK :

he’s a bodyguard and he prefers to stay out of the spotlight

frank was annabeth’s bodyguard for a while but luke laid him off. frank and annabeth are still good friends and he was even the one to push for her to talk to percy

hazel hired him in the middle of her trial. she was getting a lot of hate for her choice and her manager told her it would be for the best if she had a bodyguard

the actor they hired to play someone quit and frank had to play the part. there were only three lines but he was so nervous, he was shaking. hazel calmed him down and told him it’ll be fine. he was just playing a side character

he went viral once. a photographer had snapped a picture of him and posted it, calling him handsome and sexy. when he found it, he blushed so hard that he was red from his ears to his toes

he was even offered a modelling contract, though he shot it down. he preferred his job as a bodyguard. it still gave him good pay but without the price of the celebrity lifestyle

frank has a huge crush on hazel, but he never acted on it. he was her bodyguard and he wanted to keep it professional. it was what he thought was best for his career

until hazel found out, fired him, and then asked him out. he said yes and they started dating. frank was worried about not having a job but then annabeth called him and told him she had a spot open

hazel and frank keep their relationship lowkey and rarely post anything. but they’re still one of the cutest couples in the industry

HAZEL :

she’s a child star. hazel starred in a few shows and many fell in love with her and her sweet personality. her mother always booked her jobs and appointed herself as hazel’s manager

from age ten, hazel worked nearly 24/7. she thought that was normal but wasn’t too aware of the laws. marie would give her less than she earned and eventually hazel grew tired of it. she did some research and found out that what her mother was doing was basically against the law

hazel called up the best lawyer in the business and it wasn’t too long before she was in the big trial with her mom. many people were against her and she faced a lot of backlash. but sammy, her temporary manager, sent her to percy’s show so she could clear things up. he also hired frank as her bodyguard

hazel won the case and she went on to raise awareness for all the child labor and child predators in hollywood. her mom had exploited her and used her. she doesn’t want that to happen to other kids

she stayed out of the spotlight for a while. she still had frank as her bodyguard, in case anything went wrong. after a year, hazel started to put on more projects

she made a name for herself and even started a jewelry line. she started dating frank and she’s as happy as can ever be. she still despises her mom for what she did but she left it in the past for the most part

LEO :

leo never really knew what his future would hold. all he really had an interest in was video games and programming. and inventing. but he never knew what kind of job he would take

he started a youtube channel, where he played games. about a year later, he was well on his way to ten million subscribers. it worked for him and he met a lot of great people over youtube

when he wasn’t recording, he would program a game he was working on. it was based off of greek mythology, which he had a fascination with. leo did it all by himself and released it after a few years. the game wasn’t as a big hit as he had hoped it would be but a lot of people still loved it

his youtube channel was already making headlines. he had started doing more out-of-the-box videos, from pranks to daily vlogs. leo’s channel had everything

leo actually met piper through an event. she was in charge of photography and he bumped into her. the two became fast friends, though it freaked him out that she was fangirling for a minute straight

his love life sucked. he had gotten piper and jason together but he was still single. percy and annabeth were happily in love. frank and hazel made his stomach hurt with how sweet they were. hell, even his cousin sammy had a girl. leo was the only single one

he dated around, but never really got into a serious relationship. he’s happy though. he has his friends and his youtube channel. while it would be nice to have a girlfriend, he knew he had it good

EXTRA :

reyna starred in a reality tv show, called circe’s island. it was basically where girls competed against in each other. she was there as hylla’s partner and the two won that season

reyna went on to become social media influencer and she has over 13 million followers on instagram alone. reyna started her own business and is a self-made millionare

nico’s a talent scout and manager. he’s often behind the scenes but he always manages to find the most talented people

will’s an actor and musician, though he’s not very popular. he mostly just stars in small tv shows and makes appearances in movies and such
