Not to SelfPromote™️ but here’s what you can get so far (there are more colours but these are my faves of each style). I wanted to make something in the trans colours as well (but subtle like… in case you’re stealth or your family don’t approve or you just want to show support in a way that isn’t like PRIDE PRIDE PRIDE! I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea) The pink hoodie is by far my fave and yeah I’m just kinda gonna leave this here! My Teespring store is H E R E!

Just so you’re aware, any profit I make from this will go towards my transition. I usually downplay it as a joke but I. Am. Poor. Like. Really poor. All of the money I’d managed to save from my last job which I had in between studying was used to pay for my Gender Clinic appointments. Starting T is a not so far away possibility if I can raise some money, but top surgery is a distant dream at this point. If you want any of these or have a design in mind that you’d like me to make, please hit me up and I’ll do my best! So despite what I said I went ahead and watched the after buzz interview (always better to hear from the actual source) and my takeaway is basically:

The EPs keep referring to the show as a ‘boys toys’ show (ie a show geared towards selling merch) and implied that they had a lot of restrictions. Okay, so I’ve never pointed fingers at anyone for how the show ended up because there’s just so many parties involved in this franchise and no way for us to know exactly what happened and where and how things went crazy behind the scenes so I’ve never ‘blamed’ anyone specifically. BUT. The fact remains that I disliked the story choices made and what it ultimately became and personally feel that a better story with stronger messages could have been told. That’s why I still don’t like how the show turned out. That’s why I cannot continue supporting the show or buying their merch. I have no desire to support what I don’t enjoy.

Something new I hadn’t heard anyone mention yet is the EPs mentioning that in the original pitch for the show (the one where Shiro was supposed to die in s2), Keith was never supposed to go to the BOM and Keith and Lotor was supposed to have more of a dynamic (they were both half Galra, one good the other evil, etc) and that Keith would have ultimately developed and come out better etc. But since this didn’t happen, we ended up getting this similar dynamic with Allura and Honerva instead. God, what I would have given to watch a v/oltron where Keith never left and developed with the team instead. I’ve always been curious to know what the 'original pitch’ was like (because I personally feel that pitch would have had a better planned storyline instead of a rushed, patched up story to cater to the demands of the 'higher ups’) so I hope one day we get to hear more of it.

Not getting into the whole Hunk and Allura and everyone dying thing because I’ve already said I disliked the story choices this show has made and even though these few scenarios never actually made it into the show, I dislike them too and its obvious that things were never going to work between us.

The EPs said to go crazy with our imagination because that’s the 'benefit of sci-fi’ and 'no one really dies in comics’ and 'we can interpret things in different ways because lines are so blurred’.
