Minene grunted a bit at the mention of 'God'. She tried to make this note of displeasure as subtle as possible. "Yeah, see you tomorrow," she sighed. She thought about the historical tour for a moment, then decided it would be in her best interest to stop poking around the church and instead take direct action against the Archbishop.

Minene looked over at Reisuke with a sort of confusion. There may have been a slight hypocrisy about her, as even she did not know the true meaning of Christmas, but she at least had a basic knowledge of the holiday. "Christmas, as far as I know, is a holiday where one gifts another something they desire to bring them 'joy' or 'happiness' in general. I think there was some religious background to it, but none that I care for..."

"Edible flowers?" she asked, "Isn't that rather childish? Why would someone eat a flower? I'd rather not have the taste of dirt in my mouth," she groaned. The thought of fish and eyes in the same sentence disturbed her a bit. "Eyefish...Don't you mean fish eyes?" She glanced to the side, "Of course I'm unaware. This is my first time here, after all."

His eyes narrowed, and he wondered why such a close-minded individual was visiting a church of all things. “No, you misunderstand me. The flowers can speak should one bother to listen.  And these flowers offer food and nourishment, they’re edible, if you know which ones to pick.”

It was a warning, subtle, but there. Flowers were a main source of food here in the church, and if Labrador liked, he could easily poison one someone.  ”These alongside our signature eyefish soup are revered throughout Barsburg. The fact you’re unaware of such things makes me curious, miss.”

Minene was suddenly threatened by the man. He really did want her dead! She hadn't expected him to act so hostile to her until that moment. Not that she had anything to be afraid of. If she was in any real danger, her Future Diary would tell her. Even if it didn't, she had the power of a God on her side. It would take a lot for Ayanami to kill her, no matter how many people were against her, as long as she had the Escape Diary. 

Regardless of her exit plan, she knew she had to give the commander a response, and quickly. She didn't exactly plan on losing her life today, much less to this man. She had already slipped up by revealing to him that she was against the church, but his response to her knowledge of Archangels was something she hadn't prepared for.

Her answer to Ayanami would without a doubt determine her disposition with the man, and with the Blackhawks as a whole. She could easily tell him a fabrication, that she was seeking his aid to eliminate the Archangels. In reality, that sentence was just a single word off. She hadn't expected to encounter them to begin with, as neither of them were on her agenda.

She could simply ask the man for a map of the entire district, but she feared she had already used up all of her strikes. Anything she said could set the commander of the Blackhawks off, and in an instant, the entire room would be antagonizing her. 

"By this point, I want to avoid the church anyway," she said truthfully. Even if Ayanami knew she was a terrorist, it didn't matter at this point. No matter what she said, he would want her dead. "To be honest, I entered this district with a goal. I guess you don't need to know my entire life story, but I'll say this much. I used to be a terrorist, who took down religious groups one by one to avenge the death of my parents. I heard about this church and some nonsense about seven 'ghosts', and decided to pay it a visit."

She kept her guard up as she continued, "The truth is, I thought someone powerful like you would be willing to help me with my goal. As for my seeking you out, Mikhail's host suggested that you were an enemy of his. The kid irked me, and with him being native to the church, killing him off would create some uproar."

Not remembering where she was going with her goal, she slid her hand into her pocket, grasping a single flash bang hidden beneath its cloth. If Ayanami issued an order, she would trigger the grenade to make her escape. She already held her cell phone in her other hand.

16.38 PM - Ayanami is growing impatient with me.

That was all her diary said at that moment. As far as her diary was concerned, she hadn't said anything to cause Ayanami to result to violence. She should have considered herself blessed, to that extent. Despite what the diary said, she kept her hand on the flash bang in her pocket, just to be safe.

He was silent and still as she spoke and even when she finished he was in deep thought. She’d met Teito Klein and learned of his secret. That didn’t bode well for her. He was about to turn around and let his hawks do what they did best. But her next words stayed his hand. 

She didn’t believe them? Or was she saying she didn’t believe to spare her life for a few fleeting moments. Well played. “It would do you well to avoid the church.” he agreed softly a faint smile pulling at his lips. He stepped forward much to his Begleiter’s concern. “I’m bored though. I don’t enjoy games. So let’s cut straight to the point.” 

Obviously there was an underlying meaning about all of this. She had sought him out and it wasn’t to talk about angels. Either she wanted something or needed something from him be it information or othwerwise. This dancing about the real topic was aggravating him and he didn’t have time for it. 

“Let me speak honestly. You know too much for my liking. What you have sought me out for will be either your savoir or you undoing. Your time grows short. So speak.”

"That was hardly a bore," Minene replied, looking down at a pamphlet someone had given her, "The statues you mentioned are a bit interesting as well... They have names, right? I'm mostly curious about the way they're placed." She thought long and hard about this. Poking around this church had already proven to be dangerous, noted the two Archangels she had met. Her first thought was obviously to ask the blonde for more information, as she could easily take advantage of him and even resort to blackmailing him if necessary.

She read over the pamphlet again, looking for any clues about the archbishop, but at this point, having met Mikhail and Raphael, she decided that simply killing the archbishop would not be nearly enough to take down this church. There had to be another leader in charge of the church itself, someone with even more power than the archbishop herself. But who would that be? Was it the military commander, Ayanami? The red-eyed brunette who had intimidated her? The bipolar blonde girl that threatened her, or perhaps that girl's dragon?

Everyone she had met that day had one thing in common. They all had a unique characteristic about them that intrigued her. Whether it was Castor and his puppets, Labrador and his flowers, Frau and his porn magazine, Teito and his shackles, Ouka and her pet dragon, or Ayanami and his cold, dismissive personality; she was positive that anyone at this place could either be her best friend, or her worst enemy.

“Yes.. the church does have a distinct history. It’s rather long though, probably very boring to listen to unless you are into that kind of thing..” He shrugged, turning to start guiding her around the grounds where the citizens were permitted to go. The interior of the church was more for the staff and residents.

He began to explain little bits of history here and there, where things were, the meaning behind the guardian statues of the Ghosts and such, trying to keep it as interesting as possible until the bells started to ring, signalling that the church was closing.

“Looks like I’ll escort you to the gate then..” He smiled. “Hope I didn’t bore you too much!”

"Took you long enough to figure it out," Minene said with a slight laugh. She was a bit surprised that Reisuke hadn't already known about this. The paper she had shown Reisuke was his plan to kill Yuno Gasai for murdering his parents. "When you think about it, there's only one possible explanation for anyone wanting to kill Gasai. They would have known she was a diary owner."

A dark glare crossed her eye, "And I find it difficult to believe that a child your age would have any true thoughts of murder unless they bared a grudge. Yes, Reisuke, I am the Ninth..."

The small paper scrawled with childishly sloppy handwriting was a sight that made Reisuke’s eyes widen even more. So that was where the paper went! He had thought he had simply dropped it on the streets. No, instead, Minene had gotten a hold of it. It made perfect sense. That’s how she was able to get all those traps for him!

Though…he never wrote his alias on it. Even if he did, she should not have known what a “Diary Holder” was. There was only one possible explanation as to how she knew about the Future Diaries. “…Minene-sama..are you a Diary Holder?”

Suddenly she began to wonder if she'd be introducing herself into a situation similar to the one she had fallen into with the Survival Game. She was still a God after all, as Deus had bestowed the last of his second-world Lifespan into her body before her death. She had hoped that it wouldn't be necessary to use this power.
