The way Isik made Osman open up by asking him questions about himself that no one else did like why he likes findik or money. The way she softened Kerem and made him very protective of her even more than Eda cause he knows she's more fragile. The way she made Eda confide not only about her dreams but also the fears that go along with it. The way she brought back the warmth to Sinan's empty life and gave him another reason to live. Isik may not be your fave character but Isik should be your fave character because everyone needs an Isik.

Thinking how beautiful Isik's soul is, simply by choosing to be with someone so damaged like Sinan. She's bound to get hurt and I think it shows in the contrast of the lively, colorful styled young Isik compared to the plain, gloomier adult one. Just imagining what a happy soul like her had to go through to change so much is heartbreaking

I love how gentle Osman is to Isik. I even think his decision of whether to apologize or not was because he didn't want her to be punished. She afterall wasn't supposedly part of the mess. Isik is right any girl he'd date is lucky to have someone as considerate.

Personally I think than Sinan is always late, because he knows no one cares if he show up or not. But when he knows that she's waiting for him, that gives him a meaning to be there. And also not be dead, not yet.

My favorite thing about the series are these implied meanings and how they made us see such complexities with such simple gestures or scenes. I love the non-dramatic drama going on. I also especially love the part when Sinan lost all meaning to live after going to Isik's house but then when he came to the concert, she nagged at him for not being there and for once after a long time, someone actually made him feel his absence is seen, noticed and that his presence did matter. SinanIsik maybe one of the most beautiful series' pairings I've known. They make us all nostalgic of a young love we've had or even never had.

The night of the concert, he thought for the first time that maybe he had a chance with her (he interpreted the scarf as an act of love not pity) but he's not sure he deserves her, and above all if he deserve that love. Before this we don't see Sinan ever react to anything. He's never angry, he never cares about anything. But here yes. Because like he says in a way after, she's his weakness. When Necdet says to her that she should not join them, that hurt Sinan, and trigger his insecurities. That's because he answer to Necdet. He fight with him about her, really. When she changes the exam, we see it as an act of love, but he sees it as an act of contempt. He thinks "she also believes that she is better than me" and than that, and everything else was an act of pity. And that destroys him. All of his insecurities come out together, all he says to her when he's angry are fears that she won't love him back and that no one can. He's afraid of love yes, but specially of not deserving that love. He felt betrayed somehow. As I said before, I measure the intensity of his anger, with the same intensity that he liked her. But I think he could see in the end her action for what it really was, an act of love, nothing more. Nothing less. And that he deserve it. But specially accept and give love too.
