i think what’s important to keep in mind about the rejected dragon age remasters is that it was mostly needed for those who don’t have a pc to play the games and have no way to ever play them, to keep the games from becoming lost media and becoming unplayable forever for the majority of the fans

even for those of us with a pc the games don't even work half the time, you have to download a patch that is completely unrelated to the dev team, and i am one of the lucky ones it actually worked for. this was a way to preserve these games, to continue playing them and keeping them alive. it isn't really about enhancing the graphics and making it look nice, at least for me

i think it is worth mentioning that it's interesting how the dragon age fanbase is predominantly made up of queer people and women and ea has favoured the series which has historically been male dominated.

fantasy games DO sell, there have been many popular fantasy centric games that have received critical acclaim and love from the fans, so why is dragon age, which has a game that won game of the year, any different?

what i don't understand is how they were acting like the demand for this wasn't there. who do you think kept the games alive for a DECADE in between games? what possible reason do you think that dragon age is still beloved and talked about the way it is over 15 years later? all this art and writing that still gets made DAILY?
