that auction post I reblogged last night has burrowed deep into my brain in the most unexpected way. 

I’m suddenly obsessed with the idea of Moe bidding on Moth, and the whole gag is that the bidding starts out pretty low to begin with (since it’s just for fun and probably for some sort of local charity or fundraiser or something), but Moe ends up just spitting out some random as fuck ridiculous number to ensure no one else in the auction will outbid him. 

He obviously doesn’t have the money he’s wagering, and so there’s either a bonus gag scene of Moe doing some sort of scam or off the cuff questionable and/or illegal activity to raise said funds, or a softer, more serious moment of everyone else involved pitching in to pay the goal off.

You know that trope in movies where there’s some kind of charity auction and people sign up to get auctioned off as dates and the night of the auction there’s one person up on stage getting actioned off that someone in the crowd is just completely head over heels in love with and keeps outbidding everyone who bids on them just so they can win the date?
