Predictability has its perks. After my recent stint with-... men, "boring" almost sounds nice. Almost.
Selina. It’s almost comforting to see that all black cats such as you are bad luck in other timelines. I suppose you don’t associate with the likes of me—whatever doppelgänger of mine roams your timeline’s Gotham City. I wouldn’t either. But the Selina I know is someone I consider a…companion. For that, I hope you’re doing well for yourself.
Black cats tend to bring the kind of luck you deserve.
I’m doing just fine, always am. And... companion huh? I'm sure you were a perfect gentleman~

Hey I have some kittens I want to give you one orange tabby and they are my red hood defense cat they are trained in the art of the crowbar and can defend your home so if you want to take care of them while I'm out of Gotham for a bit

Yes they do in fact have crowbars yes they will smack anyone who intrudes on your house
I can't say no to cute faces like those~ Fine. I'll babysit. But if they break anything, I’m sending you the bill.

It is only a matter of time before the strange, short blue lady @crossroadsglade is seen in Gotham again. Though, it appears she returns with a much taller and older lady, @thetruescholar , perhaps the mother spoken of.
This older lady, feather earrings swaying in her pinstriped shawl wrapped over her head, has a tight grip on a leash. The leash connects to a harness donned by a very fluffy orange Maine coon. It appears the Maine coon is well cared for, his coat is shiny and luxurious and there’s even little boots on his feet to protect him from the concrete.
Selina leaned against the shadowed corner of a rooftop as she watches the scene unfold below.
“A strange pair,” she mutters to herself. Her gaze flicks toward the older woman, and she can’t help but raise an eyebrow.
“But it'll take a lot more than that to make an impression in Gotham.”

Well, thanks anyway Cass. I’ll figure something out, I always do.
So where is everyone getting their kryptonite these days? Because I’m starting to feel a little left out~

It's certainly tempting, but at the rate it’s showing up around Gotham, I figured there must be an easier way.
And I’m not in the mood for a trip to Metropolis.
So where is everyone getting their kryptonite these days? Because I’m starting to feel a little left out~

I don't care about your sob story Kent. Remove myself? Gladly.
I don’t want to be part of the two of you playing at being better and more enlightened than the rest of us. You’ve made it perfectly clear there’s no room for how I feel. Only room for sanitized, morally neutral suffering.
I’ve been clawing my way back to myself ever since Bruce first convinced me to let my guard down, and I've learned from my mistake.
You both want peace? You can have it. Consider this my last breath wasted on either of you.
I should have told him with the line graphs.

Oh fuck off, Kent.
You don’t get to show up like some saintly afterschool special and act like your word is final. Waltzing in here gloating- trying to clean up the mess he made just because you’ve finally been knighted as Bruce’s "chosen one".
You think I’m being petty? Go ahead and try to survive being gaslit for years by the one person you trusted most in the world.
He's enough for you? Great. Write a damn poem about it and whisper it into each other’s ears at night.
You weren’t there. You didn’t watch me tear myself inside out trying to reach someone who’d already decided from the start that I wasn’t good enough.
Don’t you dare speak to me like you understand what I went through- or my life. Like you have the moral high ground to scold me.
Get the hell out of my face.
I should have told him with the line graphs.
