Illustration for a art movement against bullying. 

This is inspired in me by the way.. I was always seen as different by others. It didn’t hold me back (maybe a little, yeah) but i always fought against it and i fought at others sides for the right to be left alone, and the right to be free, to be ourselves. 

So, stand up against those others. Stand up for yourself. It will come with risks, yeah, but please, never let no one pollute your soul.

From left to right: The lone wolfy ( with a heart and clouds ) - my loner but profound feeling side; Cosmic Unicorn - because i always felt like a mythic animal, apart from my society; Little mermaid - my first Disney tape, also probably the one i most loved, her rebellious spirit, her courage to follow her heart, she tried even knowing she could lost it all, also... the sea.

Finishing three commissions! Originals are all created in mixed techniques (watercolor, gouache, crayons). A pattern for a cooking blog, an identity for a natural soap business and a very delicate portrait.

Suffice to say, all made with so much love, it pains me (just an its bitsy XD) to send them to their new “parents”. It’s never easy to say goodbye to any of my babies. 

In the photos below: after the scanning of the original, comes the image editing, cleaning, transformation and correction of details. 

The results are to be known soon! :-D

The legend of the camellias - An invented Portuguese fable (with some factual elements) of an enchanted bobcat who was saved by the beauty of the camellias and the love of a farm girl. It’s cliché, yeah, but i bet it grows some stars in some eyes ;-) 

A mini fable, in a postcard created specially for and event in #monchique town. Original characters, original lettering, my design, my illustrations, my “baby”. 

Sold almost everyone of these postcard-stories. Very happy for the result and always very humbled by the all the positive feedback of the town’s people. <3

My Valentine’s mask, Ursolina, the lonely bear.

She’s misunderstood, a HSP, and not very keen to let herself be known to society. But in the end, she conquers her fears and becomes confident for her our being, as a woman, as a unique person. <3 She starts to love herself <3
