this pride month remember to not come out of the closet if it's not safe for you. it's not lying to not share your personal identity and feelings about yourself - even if the person you feel compelled to confess to is important to you. it doesn't make you a bad person, dishonest, a sinner, etc, to express your identity privately with those you trust. in fact, i'm begging you not to come out to people who you worry won't accept you. don't feel pressured by everyone being open online about their identity this month. being queer is a personal venture that you should feel safe with 1000x more than it is a community of people that you must follow in line with. be safe, avoid discourse, i love you.
