fans all agree that seojun owned their debut era despite his (mostly) lack of lines in the title track

seojun was mostly excited and happy puppy-like throughout most of their promotions, surprising fans from his pd101 period. during the show, he was shown as a mostly quiet and reserved person, so seeing him be so outgoing and excited was a bit of a surprise

he later said that he was mostly an introverted person, but because he was happy to finally debut and be with his groupmates, he was more outgoing than usual

SEOJUN ; chaotic good ⎯ he already has a chaotic nature so he's already within the chaotic category. he's always willing to help his friends and members with anything they need, but doesn’t think too much about consequences before taking action. he's an impulsive person, so the things he does or say can sometimes happen without him thinking twice. overall, he's just a nice kid who kind of has little to no braincells when it comes to thinking about the consequences of his actions or words.

on may 24th, 2024, an instagram account was leaked said to be an idol by the insider who made the account public. the account went viral instantly with many fans connecting the account to be reyes from the boyz or at least someone close to him.

the account features photos of reyes, his family and most noteable, his manager which fans have seen before being rather close with the idol. even before the account was leaked some fans had thought the idol and manager had an odd relationship considering how close they were but passed it off as them being friends.

( below is the instagram account after it was made public with both the name and bio being changed. )

not long after the account started to gain traction, reyes would comfirm the acount to be his and also seemingly comfirming his own relationship with his manager as well by posting three different stories.

the three stories were posted within minutes of each other and reyes' official instagram account followed the account not long after - the account also followed other members of the boyz.

ist entertainment has yet to release a statement on the matter but netizens are rather sure that the idol himself confirmed everything that needed to be confirmed.

"My grandparents were, but my parents were iffy about it," Seojun smiles slightly. "And I get it, I never once said anything about being an idol to them...well, mostly because they were always too busy with work for me..." He sighs.

"But after some convincing and reassurance, they were okay with it. Even though they weren't there for me most of the time, I know they'll always support me."

"Oohhh..." Seojun hums and tsks. "This is a hard question...I think if I could or had to restart my career, then I think I would still choose to become an idol. I love being on stage and bringing happiness to my fans."

3. what's ur worst and best memory from ur trainee days?

"Obviously, the best memory of my trainee days is finding out I'll finally be debuting," Seojun laughs. "Well, yeah that's one, but for real, I think the best memory during my trainee day was my first day at training. I was so excited, you know? I like music, I like idols I watch, so I wanted to be on a stage one day like them too. When I got the offer and started training, I was more excited than nervous." He hums and smiles as he leans back in his chair.

"I think...there really wasn't any 'worst' memory of training...but there are the days where I doubt myself sometimes. I get insecure too, especially during trainee days. I remember when I returned back to the company with Haknyeon hyung after Produce, I cried to him. Not because i was eliminated, but because I thought I didn't do good enough. I was worried I didn't do good and that I wouldn't be able to make it on stage again," He sighs. "I'm pretty sure everyone has had those days."

15. if u could predict ur life after disbandment do u think that u would still work in the industry? or would u rather go for a quiet life far away?

Seojun frowns and shudders slightly at the thought.

"Honestly...I've worked really hard to get to where I am today...it's so hard to think about the ending," He pouts. "We're determined to stay with deobis as long as we can! But...if it gets to the point that we can't...well honestly, I have no clue. I guess it just depends on what age I would be if we ever happen to disband. If it's somewhere in the late future...then I would probably live a normal life, you know? It's already tiring to be an idol, no matter how much I love being on stage and seeing our fans smile."

"I just also think I can't stand being able to go on stage again with out all of them. So that's another reason as to why I would just want to go quiet after disbandment...but that won't happen anytime soon!"

"I actually don't look up myself online much," Seojun says. "I think the only times I did were at the beginning of our debut. I wanted to know if we made it to the news then, and if everybody knew about us."

He giggles, "I don't have to worry about that now. I know we have deobis watching us everywhere around the world!"

10. do u like the music and concept that ur group is pursuing? if not, what would u change it to if u could?

"I like our most recent comeback's concept. 'Nectar' is almost just like a very soft and chill vibe. I like it. it's very summer-y in a way." He laughs at his wording.

"But I do want to try other concepts too! I kinda miss the more dark and mature concepts we did, like 'WATCH IT' and 'THE STEALER'. While I love 'Nectar', and it has a message in there for deobis too, I think I vibe with the mature concepts more." Seojun explains.

"Although...a lot of deobis seem to disagree with me on that...they say that I fit more of our cutesy concept, especially during 'Bloom Bloom'...hmph..."
