it's hard trying to put into words what bangtan means to me. to those people who are not fangirls, i'd say it's pretty much impossible for them to understand. so, if you're one of those people, just nevermind this bigass text you're about to read. to those who understand this overwhelming feeling, here it goes.

i've found bangtan in, literally, the hardest time of my life. one month before, my family and i had found out about a very complicated condition about my mom's health. i had to wake up and every day face the reality of my mom's disease and it just crushed my heart. every single day was hard.

when bts came into my life, i was desperately trying to find something to make me forget about my life. that's what they gave me, exactly. a new reason, hope, love, understanding. they gave me a new home, a new safe place, a haven.

they taught me how to love someone without expecting anything in return. selfless love, the one in which you wrap yourself in a warm feeling, even though the person doesn't even know your name. but, regardless of not knowing my name, they make me feel seen and loved and cared for. these seven boys (now men) from south korea are the people i cheer for the most and i wish all the happiness in the world.

they are the reason many of us around the world are still here. i'm one of them. i'll never get tired of thanking them for their constant hard work and love for what they do. i'm always gonna be madly in love with them and eagerly waiting for their return.

thank you for the 10 years of dedication to your art, may the seven of you never shut up about how you see the world.

i'll always be here waiting for you.
