A thumb swept light across her cheek while she nuzzled into his palm. That was while with his other hand, his finger would brush across her lips. After he brushed her hair from her face.

"Some would say it was too late, as I've had to be put on medicine to help manage some of the symptoms. I've also had to take therapy." She sighed softly, shaking her head as she leaned into his touch, nuzzling his hands.

Though his head was full of plenty of questions Sephiroth dared not allow himself to question, any more than he felt he should. At this rate, he'd been certain he would answer questions with more of them. Before he could laugh any more as amusement had crossed him, their lips met and Sephiroth was close by an proximity to the redhead, and the rest of his controlled senses calm stumbling over, left his foot work and ankle balance clumsy, mind's a jumbled mess. Wasn't often that men would pin. Against anything really. That alike in kind he'd return it, allowing himself to savor in the passion he was given.

With Eve moments like this didn't feel as though he'd only been around specifically because he had to due to obligation. What was more daring that he'd taken someone who was not an Shinra employee within their headquarters. But then again, he supposed this was one of the opportunities he'd taken advantage of his fame as SOLDIER. Because he is Sephiroth. That, and the fact that hardly anyone ever pestered him during the late hours. Besides, he knew the floors. Most of them were he had access to, those where his hands were not batted away from in a literal sense of every word. Perhaps she did have a positive influence on him. It enabled him to relax in areas of his life where he should be able to. By the sound of those words it seemed as though Eve would be headed her own way which was fine with him. He knew they had their separate lives. Reluctantly, he'd let go of her hand and by this time they were in his room and hidden away from prying eyes and ears. The sort of room where it was decent, but it was definitely upgraded from the one he had back when he was a third. Still nothing in comparison to the president's. It was livable at least. On that note, he'd link his arm around hers and brought her a step closer to lure back into his arms. Lips crashing back onto hers as though it was his last kiss. As though it would be the only the last he see her. That wasn't the case. it was just that were vices and pleasure gone in hand, he rarely if ever had gotten opportunities like this. Once he broke it off, he realized his other senses were dulled. And he grinned during which he'd help lander back to her feet. Whenever Sephiroth was intimate--everything else tended to become history. He'd glance at her a moment and allowed the sting from him not breathing during the kiss to pass. "Won't happen again. Until next time." He meant the kiss and it's intensity. But that was also a promise.

Between his cellular and his laptop screen the details of what he needed to do for the duration of the following day for him placed his obligations upon the forefront and attached itself to his mind. A metaphorical time gate dangled itself above his head. So of course, he'd be the only one who'd see it. Sephiroth had not meant to just rush ahead without giving everything else thought, it was just that whenever it'd come to Shinra, well, you'd have done better to answer their call. But it's neither that he didn't think his wife and children as important. Because they were. He believes, he knows they are his priorities. The moment that Layla had come into his sights even thing slowed down. The way she said that some how had a way with helping him remember everything else that he had ignored. It's not on purpose, though. An arm lengthened to extend and then move her closer. It'd taken just one of his arms before he'd bow his head to loll within her opposite angle now that she's nearest as she could get to him. His eyes were felt lidded and thankfully, the guilt that often contended with him faded between which Sephiroth kissed her after their lips had met. In that same instant, he'd cup along the side of her face with his hand, thumb placing itself underneath her chin. His hand along doing so swept her hair out of the way Lingering on it a few moments longer, he'd break it off. "I was in a hurry. Forgive."

now that I been playing ever crisis as long as I have I wonder if the reason sephiroth hired tifa as tour guide is because she reminded him of lucia? maybe not in all of the ways, just some.

"And that isn't exactly a very pleasant 'what if,' that I would have to take any amount of guessing with. He watched the blush color within her cheeks but he didn't comment. Instead, a self congratulatory grin earned it's way upon his expression for his own reasons. Her next set of wording makes him think about how similar it was at SOLDIER. "At least you realized that damage it's done to you before it was too late." Sephiroth knew that as a child that the amount of injections and drugs he was forced to take almost every passing day wasn't normal. It was either he'd gotten sick, come under some sort of influence or he'd just been driven to the point of exhaustion for the entire day. And then he would be unable to function after the effects had worn off.

"Hm? That's true. I imagine I would still be with them if the missions or conditioning didn't kill me first." She looks over at him as he held both her hands she blushed slightly at the sudden intimacy. "I didn't I was made to be numbed to it. It wasn't until I escaped did I realised how really fucked up everything was." She shook her head. Even then it took awhile for the effects of the conditioning to wane.

So obviously Sephiroth wasn't Zack's only victim even if it sounded like an exaggeration.

"I think that sounds like a better compromise." Zack ought to have known by now, if he had not, that being a SOLDIER wasn't all he dreamt it up to be. It definitely wasn't all as glamorous as people assumed. In this case, briefness wasn't exactly the issue for those reports. Not for him, anyway.

If Emily had pulled the same stunt with him that Zack had, then his memory may very well have failed him. And in any case, his fellow college knew exactly what he was doing every time it was his last minute ditch effort.

Sephiroth exhaled a little before his gaze shot over toward the entry way to see if the one they spoke of had come, but then he returned back to the subject of the manner at hand when he'd not shown." A hand had ran itself down over his face as he somewhat felt a wave of dread and doubt. "Hopefully it goes well."

She took a deep breath, happy that he was in agreement with her.

"So, when we sot him down and tell him he can't skip out on work, we let him know that we will help him with making his reports...readable." They really did leave a lot to be desired. However he can get better! They can help him! He just needed to quit the puppydog eyes.

Some of it was she was jealous since everyone became immune to her doe eyes. Zack on the other hand, kept getting away with it to the point where Genesis avouds him after they return from missions.

"Anyway, we will sit him down before his next mission and lay down the law so to speak. And when he gets back, we remind him he cannot get out of doing his work." She took a deep breath.

"I hope this works."
