SequenceShift Neutral Endings
I wanna get my AU back in business again, so I started by discussing some of the neutral ending variants, which I really love back in the OG Undertale. If you guys wanna suggest others, by all means. Also, for character comparisons, I have a list right here for each of the roles the UTY cast takes:
Clover: Frisk
Kanako/Kit: Asriel/Flowey
Dalv: Napstablook
Chujin: Toriel
Dina: Sans
Mooch and Moray: Papyrus
Starlo: Undyne
Martlet: Alphys
Axis: Mettaton
Ceroba: Asgore
For now, let's get into it.
The Rulers
Who rules the Underground depends on choices made. The three main candidates are Chujin, Starlo, and Martlet. Mooch, Moray, Dina, and Axis aren't really ruler types, so they don't have variations, but they do feature in some of the endings.
There are also three OCs I made for this AU that have stakes in leadership, known as the Three Nobles, who rule different areas of the Underground and compete with each other when not kept in line. These are:
Jiro Kinari: Chujin's father who is very set in his ways and against humans. Leads a faction of staunch traditionalists.
Rina Junwei: Ceroba's cousin who's a charismatic businesswoman and leads corporate interests in the Underground.
Ayumi Ketsukane: Ceroba's niece with more progressive ideals, popular with younger monsters and some politicians.
I know this is a lot, but trust me, I will simplify it down. Either way, Neutral's ending would always start with Martlet calling Clover and leaving a message, while going into the political state of the Underground.
Chujin Endings
If Chujin is alive, he returns to the Imperial City to rule over the Underground. His status allows him to keep the Three Nobles in line (they still oppose eachother, but that'll never change lol), but unlike Toriel, his policy on humans changes different depending on how many/few Monsters are killed.
Diplomat Ending (Flawed Pacifist)
If Clover hasn't killed any Monsters, Chujin himself will get roped into the call. He'll explain that while he does not fully trust humans overall, Clover's influence has convinced him to resume the diplomatic processes Ceroba held before Kanako fell down. He is slightly skeptical, thinking the process will take years, but is determined to see it through.
Isolation Ending
If Clover has killed a handful of Monsters, Chujin won't join and Martlet will keep talking, saying that rulership has largely been unchanged from Ceroba's rule, not violent against humans but not looking to establish ties with them either. Any humans who fall down will be patched up and sent back to the surface. Martlet will mention, however, that Chujin has been awfully wrapped up in the notes of some of his older projects.
Martial Law Ending
If Clover has killed a lot of Monsters, Martlet mentions that Chujin has placed the entirety of the Underground in martial law, fearing possible reprisals from other humans. Any humans are to be detained on site, which leads Martlet to warn Clover to stay away from the Underground.
Starlo's role on Chujin's ending will also change depending on choices. If his befriending mission is complete, he still serves the Emperor but is still pretty torn up on Ceroba's death. He insists that he'll be okay.
Otherwise, if it isn't complete, he takes Ceroba's death much harder, with Martlet mentioning that he's become a washed up drunk and that he needed to be relieved as Chief of the Rangers. If they're alive then Moray or Mooch will take over as Chief, with Moray taking priority if both are alive (also applies if Starlo has been killed). If neither are alive, the Rangers as a whole are disbanded (also applies on Starlo and Martlet's endings)
Dina's role as Executioner won't change, but she will join in the call on the Diplomat Ending, commending Clover on how they handled the situation while mentioning that she'd probably lose it in their place. When she gets to the topic of Ceroba's death, her cool-headed demeanor starts to break a bit, before abruptly leaving the call. Martlet mentions that she'll keep an eye out on her.
The phone call will end with everyone saying goodbye on the Diplomat ending, with Martlet hoping that she'll be able to see Clover again. On the other two, Martlet will end the call on a slightly more somber note, hoping things are better wherever they are.
Starlo Endings
If Chujin is dead, then the Underground is left without an heir, resulting in a succession crisis. As the Empress's Hand, Starlo is left to be the Regent of the Underground and his own ending variants.
Regent Ending
If the Monster kill count is kept to a minimum and the Feisty Four are alive, then Starlo rules as more or less a more extroverted Asgore, not terribly competent, but charismatic enough to keep the population happy. Martlet will mention that while Starlo may be the face of Underground leadership, Ayumi is the actual brains, pushing her ideals from the shadows. However, both are facing fierce opposition from the other factions, with Martlet suggesting that Clover stays out at least until the political fallout settles. Like with the Diplomat ending, Moray takes leadership of the Rangers and joins the call. Martlet will end the call by urging Clover not to give up hope.
Junta Ending
If 1-3 of the Feisty Four were killed, or the Monster kill count was fairly high, then Starlo is consumed by his failure to stop a human from killing those he loves. He answers this by reorganizing the Underground into a stratocracy, with backing from Rina and making Undyne his General, while urging the Steamworks to produce more warbots. He amasses quite the following, but still has many opposing his reforms, leading to a tense situation. Martlet warns Clover that he might be planning an invasion of the Surface, worried about how the situation is turning out.
Tyrant Ending
If all of the Feisty Four are killed and the Monster kill count is at a high, then Starlo completely breaks down in his position. He's usurped by Jiro Kinari, who rules the Underground with an iron fist, causing massive civil unrest. Martlet will mention that both she and Starlo were removed from their positions and that he currently crashes on her couch, muttering about the good days. She mentions that she, Starlo, and Dina are planning on joining a resistance against the new administration and that they might not hear from her for some time.
Martlet Endings
If Chujin and Starlo are dead, then leadership of the Underground falls onto Martlet, who lacks Chujin's skills and Starlo's charisma.
Empress Ending
If the kill count is kept to a minimum, then Martlet solidifies herself as the new ruler, with backing from Ayumi and Dina, as well as Axis, Moray, and Mooch if they're alive. She mentions that while she's determined, the job is taking a heavy mental toll on her, and that she wishes that Ceroba and Chujin were here to help her. She ends the call by hoping that one day she and Clover will be able to reunite.
Civil War Ending
If the kill count is far higher, Clover will instead get a phone call from Dina. She mentions that Martlet completely lost control of the situation, which has led to the Three Nobles waging war with eachother. The fighting has spread to the Capital, requiring Martlet to evacuate and abandon the throne. Dina mentions that the two of them are currently hiding out in the Remnants (SequenceShift's version of the Ruins) to escape the fighting, but many of the Underground's citizens have been killed already. Martlet apparently still shows signs of compassion for Clover, with Dina mentioning that she doesn't understand...or particularly care. She ends the call by telling Clover to never come back, warning them that they'll never be heard from again if they do.
Mo Ending
The AU's joke ending, equivalent of the Dog ending. If Clover kills all of the bosses (Chujin, Moray, Mooch, Starlo, Axis, and Ceroba), then Martlet will explain that Mo just showed up to the Palace one day and came up with the proposition that he'd allow both Monsters and Humans access to his discounted specialty goods if they made him Emperor. It surprisingly worked and now he's tasked the Steamworks with the mass production of his products...which would be easier said than done if he didn't keep changing them on a whim. Martlet mentions that her brain hurts form trying to figure everything out and ends the call saying she's gonna go take a nap, thanking(?) Clover before she leaves.
And that's the endings I got planned for the neutral run, plus some worldbuilding. Hope you guys like it!

Hello, I have ideas for Frisk's journey in this AU (Undertale Red?). ...this is gonna probably be multiple parts.
First off, the Dreemurr family. Ashore probably went off to live in a more secluded place with Toriel to settle down and recover from post war trauma. They're family friends with Ceroba's family, but otherwise they're just living their lives. Eventually they have Asriel.
Anyways, Kanako gets seriously hurt and Project Integrity happens, but a bit before that Asriel found Chara and took them home. Toriel and Asgore took the kid in, then everything happened. And Chara heard about it.
Chara, being a human hater, wanted to give up their own Soul for Project Integrity, however they knew that the Dreemurrs probably wouldn't let them. So they decided to poison themself and hoped that after death, their Soul would be used for it.
They did not account for Asriel trying to absorb their Soul.
Now here's the thing, here Chara tried to separate from Asriel. But due to Asriel not letting them, his body kind of shut down due to the mental battle. Much to the distress of Asgore and Toriel.
Toriel managed to figure out what happened and TRIED to help resolve the mental battle, but ended up triggering their mutual fight instincts and got hurt, and eventually fell down. But not before telling Asgore about the whole mental struggle going on between Asriel and Chara.
Anyways, Asgore eventually comes to the conclusion that the only thing that might save Asriel and Chara is if a third Soul is added to the mix, one that's able to get Asriel and Chara to stop mentally fighting each other. So he goes reluctantly hunting for a Human with the right temperament to be a peace keeper between them.
Hello, anonymous bean! Wanna say, first of all I do really love this concept for a 'SequenceShift Red'. Story wise, this looks great already. However, it does clash a bit with the lore in a few places, with the most prominent one being that Asgore did die during the Great War (hence why Ceroba's bloodline rules the Underground in this setting) among a few others. Still, I do really like this idea. It doesn't clash with many ideas I had for Frisk or their journey. Granted, there isn't many ideas for that in the first place, I've been focused entirely on Clover's journey. All I had for Frisk was that they encountered OG Undertale characters and were the last human to fall down before Clover.
I'd like to talk with you more about if that's okay. Discord is the easiest way to communicate with me, you can find me at imperial_topaz300.
And you cooked with this concept. Thanks for sharing!

Undertale SequenceShift Ages
Had age headcanons on the brain and figured I'd do a list for my AU's. These weren't too hard to figure out. I basically too my HCs for Undertale Yellow and added them by roughly 10. I can do broader age ranges if you guys prefer ambiguity, but for now, I'll go with direct aproximations. Now let's get into it, starting from the oldest. Chujin is 41
Ceroba is 39
Ed and Dina are 38
Starlo is 37
Ace and Dalv are 35
Moray is 34
Martlet is 31
Mooch is 24
Clover, Saide (Kako's friend), and GC are in the 15-17 range.
Kanako was about 7 before falling down. Kit is about a decade older mentally, fitting in with her acting like a murderous angsty teenager
So, yeah, SequenceShift basically has a human teen dealing with a bunch of depressed middle-aged monsters in severe need of therapy. Not too different from the OG Undertale lol
Hope ya guys enjoyed this!...and don't worry, I am trying to work on actually writing a fanfic for this verse! (May need a bit of help tho)

SequenceShift Starlo
It's been a while since I've put out anything for SequenceShift. So, I decided to start rambling about my depictions of Undertale Yellow characters in my AU. I decided to go with Starlo, mainly due to @profounddefendorcrusade-blog and their posts about him.
So, what's the deal with Starlo in SequenceShift?
Sorry for a lack of pictures btw.
Well, like UTY Starlo, he was childhood friends with Ceroba and the Sheriff of the Wild East. For a time, he was pretty much almost entirely identical to how he is in vanilla UTY.
Until the massacre of the Wild East.
Basically, a Renegade human (NOT one of the six souls) made their way underground, falling into the Barrens, and started laying waste to the Wild East. Almost half of its inhabitants were killed and Starlo cracked under the pressure, with Dina being the one who brought down the assailant.
This basically mentally broke him. He had believed in Western culture without any of its actual drawbacks, only to have to come to terms with the harsh realities of lawbringing. Now many of his friends were gone and the community he worked so hard to build was shattered. However, he eventually started to take this as a learning experience into becoming an actually responsible and competent lawbringer. He swore himself into Ceroba's service, trained to become a deadly combatant, and was eventually made Chief of the newly formed Royal Rangers. Rather than just pretending to be badass, he genuinely became badass with the goal of making sure nothing like the Wild East Massacre happens ever again.
Unfortunately, this came with its own flaws.
He and the Feisty Four started to grow distant from one another, despite them being core members of the Rangers. This was a mix of trauma and their new jobs. Eventually they started seeing each other less as friends and more as coworkers, with only Moray and Mooch truly sticking together. This didn't really help Starlo, who devoted himself even more to Ceroba.
At his core, he's still the same kind-hearted, dorky farmboy who's looking out for his friends and community, which ties into his main motivation. He wants to make Ceroba, his best friend, happy again. However, he is willing to go to drastic measures to accomplish that, even if he knows it's wrong.
On a Pacifist/Light Neutral run, he still shows off that cowboy persona of his. He still wears his poncho and sheriff's badge over his Ranger uniform and holds a lot of the same demeanor, even if it's not as prominent. It's used as a coping mechanism (with him still yearning for that escapist Western fantasy he was living out) and to help cheer up those around him. He keeps up this persona, hoping to be able to willingly bring Clover to Ceroba. He only drops it at the end of the Barrens, where he (reluctantly) attacks Clover after they show that they aren't going to just go with him.
However, cracks start to show in his persona the more monsters Clover kills. He starts simply being passive aggressive, but the more ruthless a neutral run is, the more hostile he becomes, showing more of that darker anti-hero side. Should go without saying, but it becomes especially apparent if Clover kills any of the Feisty Four. This reaches its lowest point in the Vengeance/No Mercy route, where straight up ditches the poncho and badge, instead wearing his Ranger uniform on full display, showing that he's fully embraced his role as a ruthless lawbringer.
However, on a Pacifist run, he can be convinced to see the error of his ways. His version of Undyne's Friendship interactions has Clover and Dina bringing the Feisty Five back together, which definitely improves Starlo's morale and mental state. This eventually leads him to take a stand against Ceroba, not because he's disillusioned with her. Rather it's because he still cares for her as a friend (no matter how much wrong she's done) and knows that by continuing to collect human souls for Project Integrity, she's only digging herself into a bigger hole.
Tl;dr: Starlo in SequenceShift has the same cowboy persona, but hides a more ruthless antihero side beneath that. However, even that's a mask for the same kind-hearted, dorky farmer who just wants to make his best friend happy.
Thanks for indulging in my ramblings. It's good to be talking about my AU again. If you wanna hear more about any of the other characters (or if I missed something about Starlo), feel free to hit me up!

Not just a guy, but also the (presumed) death of a child who's potentially younger than you are. Both Clover and Ceroba need hugs.
sorry I am thinking about the Pacifist Ceroba cutscenes I joke about it being fucked up for Ceroba but imagine being Clover. Imagine your like 10 and you're like "hmmmg maybe if I figure out what's going on in her head I can calm her down" and then you just witness a guy die that would fuck me up so bad.
