note: this has been sitting in my drafts for too long, i just forget to put it out lol. hope you enjoy this! i'll hopefully get around to doing more of these "listing" kind of scenarios:>

+ PLAYS WITH YOUR FINGERS. we know how much of a hard time sonic has staying still, so when he's sitting down or standing near you, he always finds his way to the ends of your fingers and fiddles with them non-stop. sometimes he'll even just tangle his own against yours. he does it very subtlety too, which makes your heart beat as fast as he runs.

+ RUBS YOUR WAIST. whether you're at home watching a movie, cooking, or even out in public by yourselves, he always has his arm wrapped around your waist. he likes rubbing his hand against your side or drawing circles with his fingertips. he rarely does it around the gang though, but it makes such affection feel more intimate.

+ COMPLIMENTS YOU AFTER A BATTLE. after you and the gang finish off another eggman attack, he'll always give you a quick high five or even squeeze your waist a little (if he's feeling bold) and give you a compliment of some sort. "you did great y/n!" "you were so badass today!" "way to kick butt!" etc.. and plus his signature smile at the end of every sentence? my god you're in heaven.

+ COMFORTS YOU. yes a little angst never hurt nobody lol. when there's too many battles in one week, it's only normal that you feel exhausted, and it can get overwhelming at times. you know sonic isn't too fond of talking about feelings and such, so usually you'll play it off but at the end of the day, it's just so tiring and the tears just start to fall. he'll wrap you in his arms and wipe your tears away whilst whispering comforting words.

+ SECRETIVE KISSES. a very obvious one, but hear me out. it doesn't seem like it, but sonic can't go an hour without his lips on yours. you're at home? kisses every chance he gets. out on the battlefield? a subtle kiss behind a bush or something. he's so loving about it, plus the thrill of doing it when no one's watching makes you insane.

SONIC his desk is meant for carving and sleeping on it, nothing more. you guys sit all the way in the back (come on, this is sonic we're talking about) so he's your eating-during-class buddy. you know him well enough to know he pays little to no attention in class and somehow gets better grades than you? you've also lost count of how many times he's asked you to ditch class with him.

KNUCKLES doesn't pay attention unless it's something he's actually interested in, not to mention he doesn't know what's going on during a lesson most of the time anyways. he relies on you a lot as well. it's gotten to the point that for the sake of him and his grades, you just let him study your notes before tests. also wants to slam his desk everytime the teacher says "the bell doesn't dismiss you, i do".

TAILS the smartest kid in class, but you should know that. always turns his assignments on time and has never been absent. he's always willing to share his notes with you when the teacher is going to fast or you just happen to miss a day. the teacher already knows that y'all have to sit next to each other because otherwise you'll never get your work done.

SHADOW refused to make any interaction with anyone at first, but you grew on him over time. has this whole "i go to school to study, not make friends" attitude. enjoys drinking coffee with you every morning at your desks, so y'all bond over that. it's no secret he's a smartass, so if a topic is too hard for you, he'll lean over and whisper the answer in your ear, which makes you flustered everytime.

SILVER never have you met someone so organized but a mess at the same time lol. he is known for having the prettiest handwriting his journals are so well put together and is generally organized in that sense. drops his utensils all the time tho, and you're always the one to find and hand them back to him. it started happening so often that you figured he may just be doing it to get closer to you.

note: lol this has been sitting in my drafts for a while now but i wasn't sure what else to add to it, so might as well put it out now:> and it's kinda all over the place, so i apologize ㅠㅠ. also, sonic's personality in this is a lot like how he acts in boom as well as the other characters, that's the only reason this is titled as such ^ enjoy!!

+ so you and amy have opening shifts everyday except for fridays and sundays

+ she only works till noon tho because for some reason she always has to attend some lesson

+ "sorry i got a yoga lesson at 1:00, then a book club at 2:00, then psychology class at 3:30, then—" girly is like barbie trying out every single thing you can think of

+ then on fridays, you get to open along with the energetic co-worker that shadow is /hj

+ BUT SONIC DOESN'T WORK ON FRIDAYS

+ which means you're stuck with shadow for the day and his very limited topics of conversations

+ unless it's a "hello" and "can you brew this order?" he says there's "no reason to talk during business hours"

+ you'd think he's just tired but homie drinks like 5 cups of americano daily so that's impossible

+ pretty sure the guy just hates everyone

+ but anyways, onto sonic already

+ where to begin ohmygod

+ y'all have the most fun together out of everyone

+ hell, even the customers know how chaotic the café gets when you're both working the same shifts

+ you guys are usually alone from 12:00am to 2:00pm before shadow and sticks clock in

+ "c'mon y/n! just one more time!"

+ "sonic we have 10 more minutes before the rest show up. would you PLEASE put away your game of trashball"

+ he always lets you play whatever music you want for the day

+ oh and doesn't like it when you're cashier

+ he says there are customers who tend to get too "friendly" with you

+ no rlly the amount of napkins he throws away with a random number written on it happens more than you'd think

+ your pure ass didn't understand what that meant, but it also saves you from another annoying task so who are you to complain eh?

+ when there's someone other than you two working, he likes to sneak into the back with you

+ "we just have some organizing to do back there" and boom you're gone for 20 minutes

+ but it's not like you guys do anything bad

+ 90% of the time you're just munching on leftovers or gossiping about what's been going in the village

+ the thrill of your relationship is trying to hide it from everyone else ngl

+ sticks says she always catches you staring and stealing glances at sonic or vice-versa

+ and god forbid he looks at you while you're putting your quills (?) in a ponytail

+ closing shifts with sonic are always the best

+ we know sonic can't stay still for long, so him knowing he gets to go home with you if everything gets cleaned up asap is a good offer

+ the comfort of it all is knowing sonic is probably gonna crash at yours afterwards

+ a nice cup of tea before heading home and your day ends on such a good note
