SONIC his desk is meant for carving and sleeping on it, nothing more. you guys sit all the way in the back (come on, this is sonic we're talking about) so he's your eating-during-class buddy. you know him well enough to know he pays little to no attention in class and somehow gets better grades than you? you've also lost count of how many times he's asked you to ditch class with him.

KNUCKLES doesn't pay attention unless it's something he's actually interested in, not to mention he doesn't know what's going on during a lesson most of the time anyways. he relies on you a lot as well. it's gotten to the point that for the sake of him and his grades, you just let him study your notes before tests. also wants to slam his desk everytime the teacher says "the bell doesn't dismiss you, i do".

TAILS the smartest kid in class, but you should know that. always turns his assignments on time and has never been absent. he's always willing to share his notes with you when the teacher is going to fast or you just happen to miss a day. the teacher already knows that y'all have to sit next to each other because otherwise you'll never get your work done.

SHADOW refused to make any interaction with anyone at first, but you grew on him over time. has this whole "i go to school to study, not make friends" attitude. enjoys drinking coffee with you every morning at your desks, so y'all bond over that. it's no secret he's a smartass, so if a topic is too hard for you, he'll lean over and whisper the answer in your ear, which makes you flustered everytime.

SILVER never have you met someone so organized but a mess at the same time lol. he is known for having the prettiest handwriting his journals are so well put together and is generally organized in that sense. drops his utensils all the time tho, and you're always the one to find and hand them back to him. it started happening so often that you figured he may just be doing it to get closer to you.

𝗟𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗔 He first found you when you got stuck in some kind of trap that was meant for a animal. At first he was like "oh maybe this one is a little bit clumsy how cute" and that was when he took his words back.

You kept on getting hurt whenever you come back to the dorm and you always found yourself in trouble. He had to send sebek or silver with you at all times to actually ensure your safety. If not that he might have to accompany you in person!.

𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 has to ensure your safety every 25 minutes before he actually falls asleep out of context and out of nowhere. He could be protecting you right, and then out of nowhere he falls asleep while your screaming for help. Lilia or Sebek has to step in and silver gets scolded for a while.

He does care don't get him wrong. It's just that he only wakes up somehow when you are in actual serious trouble.

𝗦𝗘𝗕𝗘𝗞 praises you at time for how brave you can be to set off on journeys but..why are you always coming back hurt? Not like he really cares you idiotic human! It’s just that you can’t be embarrassing his precious Malleus-Sama as one of his closest companions like this.!

He will train you personally himself although he isn’t as good as his master in that area. If you train enough then you already have since he can clearly see that you can hold your own for a while until that bad luck jumps in, you might even be able to protect his lovely malleus!. That is, if you are up for it that is?

this is just a headcanon, but i think Silver hates getting wet. he hates the way his fur feels when it's clumped together and drying out. i think it's a sensory nightmare for him. like, Crisis City did not have enough water to bathe in. whatever water you could find, you saved it for drinking, because that was usually the more pressing matter. he'd never really encountered enough water at a time to really bathe in, so he never had the experience of being submerged until after he'd been to Sonic's time.

also, while i think he would hate being wet from a sensory perspective, i think he wouldn't like it from a survival standpoint, either. being sopping wet adds extra weight, which makes him slower, which puts him at a disadvantage in a fight. he's so used to being in an unsafe environment where he needs to be prepared for an attack at any time that he feels like any disadvantage is a risk, and he doesn't know how to fully relax when he's safe.

he's spent so long fighting to survive in a literal hell world that he really struggles to to adapt to the relative peace of Sonic's time. long periods of quiet leave him feeling anxious and uneasy; hell, this is actually canon, as we see in the 2022 Annual short story Future Growth:

Sadly, you didn’t seem to be getting the point, and Trey wasn’t the only one frustrated that he wasn’t clear with his messages. So Cater decided to set you guys up!

Cater asks for you two to be models for a day, just because he wants something to post on his Magicam account. Trey and you, being good friends with the guy, agree.

You guys do all sorts of poses and settings around the school, until at the very end Trey is forced to pose while handing you one of the tarts he made for you. Cater basically mouths “go!” to Trey and Trey is basically forced to confess right there.

You think it’s so cute, and honestly you wanted to tell him that you liked him too, but never had the courage. You two end up laughing it out and Cater posts with all kinds of couple hashtags

Azul

You would think that a suave guy like him would have already confessed to you, but no.

He thought you were out of his reach, but wanted to spend time with you so badly. The tweels caught onto this extremely quickly tho and decided to take things in their own hands. It would be fun so why not!

Jade approaches you first, asking if you could follow him to the seaside next to the school. You agree, it’s the weekend and the weather was good. Meanwhile with Floyd, he asks the same thing to Azul and basically drags the octopus to the meeting destination.

Once there, Jade and Floyd basically push you guys together and leave as fast as they brought you guys there. Then, Azul realizes what this is supposed to be; they set him up! He tries his best to remain calm, but you beat him to it.

You end up asking him out, saying you wanted to ask him before but didn’t want to bother him while he was busy. Azul fumbles a happy yes and you two end up spending the rest of the day walking on the seashore. The tweels saw this happen from a distance and are glad they have something new to tease Azul about.

Silver

He’s too stiff. He didn’t think about asking you out because he was unsure if he would be good at it. Not only that, but being someone who’s job is to watch out for Malleus basically gives no room for romance!

Thankfully, Lilia’s here to help! He sees his child basically dazing off while looking at you one day and thinks “why haven’t you told them yet?” Silver says he can’t, and Lilia tells him he’ll help.

You were going back to your dorm when Lilia suddenly appeared out of nowhere and said Silver was in urgent need of your help and that he’s in the courtyard. Panicked, you set off to the destination thinking Silver got injured.

Once there, you see him sleeping, and you sigh in relief. When waking him up and asking if he’s okay, he bolts up as if he’s never been tired or sleepy before and basically says his entire confession there (stiff guy!)

You honestly think it’s so cute, and you did think you had strong feelings for him, so you agree to have your first date with him soon. Lilia saw the whole thing from the roofs or so too haha, he’s proud of Silver.

LU Headcanons

[Just a few random general ones that I have and that go with pretty much all my writing. This is part of me writing things based off of what won on that poll I made. More to come later on, probably for other fandoms I listed as well.]

Sky is actually pretty good at playing quite a few instruments. Besides the Goddess Harp, he’s decent at the violin and piano. Technically the only time he’s seen a piano was in Legend’s house, but he picked it up pretty fast and now enjoys playing when there is one to play.

Twilight and Sky both put out heat like a furnace, so they are the most likely to be cuddled up to at night when it’s cold. Time also puts out heat, but nothing compared to Sky and Twi. Malon is definitely how Twilight inherited the trait.

No idea if I’ve written this in something before, but Wind tends to starfish when he sleeps, but that’s dependent on where exactly he’s sleeping. During his quest, since he was on a boat most of the time,  he has probably gotten used to sleeping in a small space completely flat on his back with his arms at his side and potentially also tied down so he won’t fall out of the boat. But on dry and stable land? Starfish every single time. Just ask Aryll what it was like sleeping with a brother who keeps smacking her while asleep. They have definitely had midnight shoving matches that have led to Wind staying dead asleep on the floor.

Four is prone to headaches, maybe not necessarily because of the portals or the Colors, but just because of how he functions. Self projecting a bit, but his headaches can range from “I just need food/water/quiet for a while and I’ll be fine” to “If I move from this spot, either I will be in pain or whoever moved me is about to get punched in the face”. He’s gotten pretty good at guessing what works and what doesn’t, but it’s always been a guessing game and he’s still guessing what causes the annoying headaches.

Wars is decent at making food, but not excellent like Wild is. He had to manage with what was available to him during the War, so he got good at improvising with what he had. It may not taste good, but there are calories and it’s food in a sense, so it counts in his book.

♡ malleus draconia ♡ ♡ he loves everything about his girlfriend, he finds her really interesting and the fact that she's not afraid of him makes him love her even more. ♡ he will gladly hold his girlfriend's hand, give her hugs and soft kisses to her in public, he just loves to show her how much he loves her and doesn't care if everyone sees it, though he finds it funny when she doesn't understand why everyone is looking at them scared, making him smile. ♡ when the two are alone he won't ever let her go, he loves snuggling with her as they're reading or just talking to each other, expect a lot of kisses too, he loves to spoil her with love. ♡ their date nights he takes his girlfriend on may be simple, but he just loves to walk closely with her at night under the moonlight or visiting abandoned places as they talk about random things and eat ice cream. ♡ ace and deuce were surprised when they saw their friend date that malleus draconia, how did the two even meet? deuce gets used to if faster than ace since he thinks malleus isn't that bad ever since he fixed his gao-gao dragon-kun for malleus, grim was also surprised at first but he quickly started to support the two, he have heard lots of cool stuff about malleus so maybe he could help him to become the strongest wizard in the world, silver is supportive of the two, he serves malleus after all and has promised malleus to protect her when he's not around her, if he isn't asleep that is, sebek's brain has stopped, why did the young master fall in love with a human? why? he's so confused on why he's together with such a weak creature, but he has to accept it even if he doesn't really support it and now he has to protect her too when the young master isn't around, he'll get used to it one day, probably, lilia is so happy and super supportive, finally the young prince has fallen in love and he can't wait til they get married and have kids on their own so lilia can tell them stories about their parents.

♡ silver ♡ ♡ he's really happy that he has found a girlfriend that doesn't mind his drowsiness, thought he does feel bad whenever he falls asleep when they're doing stuff together. ♡ he enjoys holding his girlfriend's hand and give her cheek kisses when they're outside together, he doesn't care if people are looking, he only have her on his him, that and trying not to get sleepy and when he fails she'll take him somewhere he won't get hurt and lets him nap, she'll take a nap with him too. ♡ when they're alone she usually take care of him when he's asleep, letting him sleep on her lap while she plays with his hair, he really loves when she does that and if he's somehow awake and she's sleepy he'll do the same thing to her or they'll just take a nap together. ♡ he doesn't take his girlfriend on dates often since he feels bad when he falls asleep during them, but when he does go on a date with her he drinks a lot of coffee before it and takes her picnic dates, they'll also pet the animals that visits them during the date. ♡ ace, deuce and grim are supportive of the two, at first they were slightly scared of silver since he's in the diasomnia dorm, but after they got to know him they think he's cool and easy-going, malleus is supportive of them and always listening to either of them when they talk about their partner and about the stuff they've done, sebek doesn't care, typical humans falling in love, all he cares about is the young master, though sometimes he does feel lonely when he has to protect malleus alone, lilia is so happy he could die, his son, in love, is he dreaming? he's super supportive and is just waiting for his grandkids to be born.

♡ sebek zigvolt ♡ ♡ how could he fall in love with a human? how? either way he deeply cares for his girlfriend and doesn't regret it, he thinks she's smart and she gets along with the young master which is a plus for him. ♡ he's never really alone with his girlfriend in public since he has to guard the young master, but when the two are alone don't expect any hugs or kisses, he just gets flustered and starts stuttering saying that they shouldn't do stuff like that around other people, he might hold your hand though when he's ready for it. ♡ he's still flustered when it's just the two of them alone, he has never been in a relationship before so he'll take things pretty slow, when he's ready he'll hug and maybe kiss her, but he'll pretend not to like it even though he does. ♡ since he needs to guard the young master he doesn't really take his girlfriend out on many dates, but when he does it'll probably just be them sitting in the diasomnia dorm and drinking coffee or whatever drink she likes. ♡ ace, deuce and grim are confused, why is their friend dating that loud ass? though they get used to it pretty quickly, they're fellow freshmen after all, malleus supports them, he's happy that sebek can finally focus on someone other than him, though that progress if pretty slow, silver also supports them, he think that sebek is too serious about his job which isn't a bad thing, but he think that sebek should think calm down and not think about the young master all the time, lilia also supports the two, he thinks it's cute that sebek actually fell in love with a human that, he can't wait to tease sebek about this in the future.

♡ lilia vanrouge ♡ ♡ he's surprised that his girlfriend returned his feelings, he's an old man after all, but he really cares for her and loves to tease and scare her. ♡ he always holding his girlfriend's hand in public and he loves to hugs and kiss her too, and he doesn't care if people sees them do it, expect a lot of surprise hugs and kisses too, he just loves seeing her scared or surprised expressions, it always makes him chuckle. ♡ oh boy, he doesn't want to leave her alone when they're alone together, hugs, snuggles and kisses, he so affectionate, but not only that he teases her to death, it always ends up with her becoming a blushing mess as he chuckles at her cute expression. ♡ on dates he likes to bring his girlfriend over to the diasomnia dorm as they eat the food that he has made for them, why does she look disgusted? is there something wrong with his cooking? she then suggests they should have cooking dates instead, which makes him excited now they can eat the food they made together, even though she just wants to teach him how to make edible food. ♡ ace, deuce and grim were surprised at first, but they'll get used to it, even if they think lilia is a bit odd and scary sometimes, even though he looks like a kid, malleus is of course supportive, he thinks lilia deserves to be with someone that makes him happy after taking care of him and silver for such a long time, silver was really surprised when he found out, it takes him some time to get used to it, but he's still supportive and happy for his father, sebek is confused, why is master lilia dating a human? though lilia just told him to focus on protecting the young master, so he'll just get used to it eventually, maybe.

I do like soft, dorky Silver, but I do think there's a fandom tendency to woobify him a bit too much.

He's one of the most powerful Sonic characters. He's absolutely on a par with Sonic, Blaze and Shadow, but he tends to take the backfoot to them in fics and stuff. It doesn't feel right.

People can be multifaceted. I think Silver can be soft and kindhearted, a little awkward, but an absolute savage in battle who just fucking wrecks foes like it's nothing.

I don't like the idea that his soft personality is at odds with his skillset. I think they go hand-in-hand: he's so driven by his desire to protect the world, and by justice and fairness - he's so motivated to do what is right. And he channels that into his powers.

His personality can coexist with his skills. He is optimistic and SO determined. And he can absolutely fuck foes up!

⋆ Mesmerized. Is how to describe Silver. He’s never seen anyone move around so freely and vibrantly then right now. There is something about the way you move with no shame that sparks something within Silver. Makes him feel youthful again, like he wasn’t constantly plagued by drowsiness.

He approached you during lunch when you just entered the cafeteria and got yourself some noodles. He popped out of nowhere and only the great seven know how he managed to get you to sit with them during that time.

Lillia won't pry into your life if you don't feel comfortable sharing but he will try his best to learn parts about you that even you fail to acknowledge.

Now where should i begin with this boy. Sebek is sebek and we all know how our sebby boy is here. (for those who came from the twst fanbase and is also a very good sebek kin like me)

He highly respects you and to be honest at first you didn't actually feel comfortable staying around him for too long due to his loud voice. However if you decide to vocalize your feelings somehow and actually admit to his face that he is being too loud he will quite down in less than a milisecond.

Sebek wants you to depend on him and not only take on things by yourself. Be honest with yourself..there is a possibility he will make good husband material.

Your both literally a match made in heaven. Both quite and sturdy but refuses to have too much interaction. However now that your an official couple he will try his best so you don't get pushed out of your comfort zone.

I see silver as the type of boyfriend who would train with you and make sure that you get extra the amount of sleep that you miss every so often.

"Arithmancy." They said, smiling as their housemates nodded eagerly. It made sense that others in the house centered around intelligence were appreciative of their love for the math-based subject.

"Excellent! Malleus and Shroud can help you around, then!" Rook said cheerfully, gesturing to the still kind of intimidating upperclassman. Malleus nodded and glanced around for Idia, who was long gone. He shrugged and went back to eating his breakfast, the rest of the students doing the same. The prefect finished their breakfast and grabbed their bag, glancing over their timetable again to ensure they knew the classroom. Malleus stood with them, offering to show them to the classroom and holding his arm out for them in a 'gentlemanly' manner.

Arriving at the small Arithmancy classroom, the prefect glanced around nervously. There were two or three other Ravenclaws in the front, but that appeared to be it. Choosing to sit in the back row, they set their stuff down quietly before organizing their note papers. The professor was notoriously skilled, having made multiple breakthroughs in the last decade or two, so the prefect was understandably nervous. Malleus sat in the same row, right next to the prefect.

Other students eventually filed in; most were Ravenclaws, but Idia didn't seem to have shown up justyet. A Hufflepuff with white hair entered shortly afterwards, heading immediately to sit next to Malleus. he glanced at the prefect and nodded to them, smiling slightly. The prefect remembered Sebek mentioning his brother was in Arithmancy. Maybe that was him? Shortly afterward, a sophisticated looking Slytherin sat in the row in front of the prefect, glancing at them and nodding to them in recognition. He seemed organized, pulling out a completed sheet of notes on the first few chapters of the textbook.

Right before the class was supposed to start, a final student stumbled into the classroom, his long blue hair tied behind him as his wide eyes scanned around for a free seat in the back. The prefect recognized him immediately, smiling at Idia and waving subtly. Idia smiled nervously back, and immediately sat down in the same back row as the other three students already there, just at the opposite end. The professor entered and immediately started writing equations on the board, discussing the concepts of spell creation and how to apply theory to practice.

After a very long lecture, the professor revealed that students would be required to pick a homework partner who would check over their work. The students groaned and quickly shuffled around to look for a partner. Glancing around, the prefect felt nerves run through them, knowing only two people in the class. Deciding to ask their fellow Ravenclaws or one of the people that they'd at least made eye contact with, they headed to their first choice...

Hi! Thank you for the ask! I remember being scared of the futakuchi-onna when I was younger haha, so this was fun to write!

Ace

He complimented your hair one day, deciding to run his fingers through it. While doing so however, he ended up knocking the hat over and seeing the mouth on the back of your head

You’ve never seen him so startled before, just a “Woah what is that?!” as he falls backwards. He’ll apologize right after, saying that it’s nothing bad, it’s just he wasn’t expecting it

You’ll have to explain to him what you are, and he’ll just sit there like “wow”

“So you can eat double the speed?” He’ll make light jokes about you having another mouth, but overall appreciates you for who you are.

He’s very chill about it after you tell him your situation, and won’t have a problem hanging out with you. He’s especially amazed at how your hair can move and grab things, it’s all cool!

If anyone tries to knock your hat off and insult you or just straight-up be mean to you, Ace will knock them out (or you two can beat the guy up together)

Silver

He didn’t notice you had something behind the back of your head until he asked you why you wore a hat around everywhere. You would have to explain to him how you have a curse that made you have two mouths.

“If you are comfortable with it, may I see?” he’ll ask carefully about the back of your head, and when you do decide to show him, he’s a bit startled but quickly calms down.

He doesn’t mind that you have two mouths honestly and will consult books and Lilia to see what he can do to be a better bf now knowing your situation.

He might forget you have a mouth on the back of your head and will sometimes run his hand down your other mouth while he’s with you.

If anyone tries to hurt you about being a futakuchi-onna, he’ll step in front and tell the other person to stop in a very, very intimidating way. He won’t go into physical fighting right away like Ace, but isn’t against it

If you ever feel insecure about having another mouth, he’ll remind you that it’s nothing to be ashamed of. He might kiss you on your other mouth from time to time as well.

Floyd

He was running around chasing you until your hat flew off and he saw your other mouth.

Floyd wasn’t scared at all, he just looked at it and was like “Cool, what’s this?”

You explain how you have two mouths because of a curse, and before you can say how you have to hide it all the time because you’re afraid it will scare people, he kisses your other mouth.

“I can kiss you more now, shrimpy!”

Like the other two, he will make sure people who insult you or tease you about your curse don’t leave without any punishment. He’ll likely squeeze them really hard, or you two might work together to beat them up (your hair can grab things too so...)

Floyd’s probably the most enthusiastic about you having another mouth since he just finds it really unique. He might feed your other mouth sometimes for fun.

With Tears of the Kingdom coming out soon, I may as well talk about how I see Wild as a character/how I write him. To be fair, Wild isn’t my favorite character so he isn’t quite as developed in my mind as other characters. Regardless, enjoy some headcanons as I wrestle with other writing.

-He likes to explore and experiment with new things. When he figured out about shield surfing, he tried to find the perfect places to do it and has many scars from the amount of times his shields broke while he tumbled down the sides of mountains. He has zero regrets.

-As for experimenting, he likes to throw a bunch of different ingredients into his cooking to see what happens. Early on in his quest, he made a lot of dubious dishes but learned from the failures and now is pretty good as a cook. He also experiments with elixirs to varying degrees of success. He wants to make the perfect elixir one day that’ll do everything at once. He has yet to succeed.

-He gets distracted pretty easily while on the road and not just because there’s a lot to do and see in his era. He definitely has ADHD, but he can focus when it matters or if he gets interested/invested enough. Cooking is one thing where he can focus a lot on it.

-He can be rather reckless when it comes to fighting. He has a lot of scars from getting knocked around by Moblins and Bokoblins. A few scars from various Lizalfos encounters too. He also likes to observe monsters and how they interact with each other. He has a journal that acts as both a cookbook/recipe book and a little personal compendium for observing the monsters he encounters. Wild will add a lot more to it on the LU journey, especially with all the new monsters.

-Wild may be a gremlin, but he isn’t unclean or anything. He kind of has to value being clean since he handles the food most of the time. Yes, he had to learn this himself early on, and no, it wasn’t pleasant for him. He washes himself at least once a day, but his haircare drives Warriors and Legend insane. He only really brushes it after he washes his hair which is not very often. One of these days Wars is going to make him take care of his hair.

♡ silver ♡ ♡ he's confused, everytime he sees y/n talking or being around other guys his heart tighten and he gets slightly angry, he doesn't really know what this feeling is, so he asked his father about it, lilia just chuckles and says that his son is jealous, while smiling. ♡ jealous? no, he can't be jealous, right? and then he sees them talking to another guy who's standing way too close to them for his liking, his jealously is back. ♡ he decided to walk up to the two and interrupt them by saying that he needs y/n help with something, as he grabbed their wrist not too tightly and walked away with them. ♡ they looked at silver, confused and asked him why he shouldn't just take them away in the middle of their conversation, silver didn't answer at first and just said that he needed their help. ♡ they realized that silver was jealous, making them smile slightly, they think it's kinda cute that he got jealous and the way he walked up to them made him look like a knight in shining armor, even though they didn't need any help, maybe they'll ask him out on a date one day.
