Running a lil experiment!

Personally, I liked Khan since episode 2. He's a silly guy and a dad that's trying his best. However, some things are just not forgivable, even if you've made up for it or are trying to. Maybe it's bc I have a strained relationship with my dad irl. Don't get me wrong I still love this worlds okayest dad, but I can't overlook earlier actions, no matter how much he may try to atone for them. Maybe others feel this way? I don't think Uzi will ever forgive him for leaving her to die, as well as neglecting her all her life, but I feel they'll continue to work on their relationship and continue to be a family.

hi. question time. i have many thoughts.

i’ve rambled a lot about khan on here and @electronix-arts, and i’ve been told by people that i’ve changed their perspective on khan which i am really really happy about. he is a very fun character and i’m glad people are becoming more open to him!

however, it makes me wonder why khan is such a difficult character for people to get even when the show, while it has its issues, explains enough about khan to get an understanding on why he acts the way he does.

so! i am specifically asking people who i have made interested in khan: why, as fans of murder drones who have presumably watched it more than once, did it take so long to start liking khan?

i’m assuming it’s preconceived bias from pilot but even then, did you like. mildly block out what he’s saying, especially with scenes like the beginning of episode 4? please do explain i’m genuinely interested

A caricature of a berserker, Gamma-M's life on earth was one of the most horrendous of any of their fellow berserkers. Beat down every time they spoke, moved one inch too far, or switched their eyelights from their X to normal eyes. Because of the last event, their visor almost always sports the iconic X of murder and berserker drones. They got slightly better once touching down on Copper-9, with Gamma-L's help, but when their nestmate and only friend from Earth, Gamma-K, went rogue and was banished from their squad's territory, M's progress was all but undone. L thought he'd never hear the voice of his only remaining squadmate again, until two certain members of the Delta squad formed a new annihilation and recruited the two of them. Since then, M has found solace in the berserkers there, who do not force them to open up, but rather let them do what makes them feel comfortable. It's a long road to recovery, but M is slowly but surely travelling it.
