Not sure if this was about us back then or not, but as a pop culture pagan who works with entities frequently, no these entities aren’t alters and also if this is about something that happened years ago like what? Why would you bring up blatant misinformation in regards to an experience that the system at fault barely would remember. Mages can get arrogant and cocky as beginners.

I once had a breakdown and dissociated really bad because someone in a server I was in offered to send over one of their "demon soulmates" (they always separated "soulmates" from "headmates" and were weird abt their proclaimed "soulmates") while I was sick with a cold to "help take care of me"

(PS, if you thought "ah, a wild endo", nope, they were extremely anti-endo and yet still believed in system hopping and claimed to do so frequently? but in a way where like,, their "soulmates" were beings that possessed their body?? Like a ghost? (sometimes literally like a ghost bc they were a ghost) and they'd send them or "headmates" to other systems via magic (literally)

(TLDR: system claims to be possessed by non-headmate entities and tries to sys-hop with them and their headmates. we don't talk anymore.)

I wish to reiterate something

The only sort of system hopping is between subsystems/side systems, not other systems between bodies (we can't blame you for not talking to them)

Not QUEEN but I *am* newer and I will say it is much easier with the tracking tools such as pluralkit and whatnot to be used for logs. (I can’t tell if I’ve been around or not but some guy (irl) bumped into Queen while she was walking up front in the crowded store and I grabbed front from her in a very protective manner —Tenna

The biggest thing that threw me for a loop with the whole thing going on was the sentence of “You are fine without pluralkit.” as if it isn’t…a widely used accessibility tool for systems??

Like yeah, sure, we could not use an accessibility tool, but the whole point of it is to accommodate people like systems who want an easy way to personalize their pfp/name/messages on discord outside of sign-offs without going through a ton of hoops.

Are there other ways to indicate stuff for systems? Sure. But most systems I know who are out about it prefer to use bots like pluralkit because of how nice the overall features are compared to the roundabout ways

It’s also weird to me to call someone upset about not being able to use an accessibility tool a squick…like.

I understand if there are issues with modding, blocking, and the like, but someone can still feel upset that they can’t use a helpful tool like PK when other methods aren’t really comparable

(Though maybe part of my personal issue is being autistic with pedantic language, and squick is one of those words that is only really used in certain contexts that I feel aren’t what’s being said here. Unfortunately I’m not really sure how to articulate why the word bothers me as much as it does in this context)
