loaf mating process

A loaf finds another loaf that they like.

Both loaves show each other's insecurities to see if the other still accepts them. If they do, the process continues.

The dominant loaf will gather the bones of dead loafs and bring them to the non-dominant one as a gift.

The dominant loaf puffs up their body to convince their mate to accept them. If the mate agrees, both loaves will lovingly and gently zap each other with the little lights on their chests as a bonding ritual.

The dominant loaf builds a nest out of the collected bones and throws up stomach acid to hold the structure together.

The submissive loaf lays in the nest and sticks its butt up, ready for mating.

The dominant loaf plugs its USB drive into the sub's USB port, which is located in the sub's butt. The dominant loaf must repeatedly plug it in, as the connection is unstable, until all the data is successfully transferred.

The submissive loaf is now pregnant. If they are a regular loaf, they will give birth in 5 days; if they are a Russian loaf, it takes 2 days.

The sub loaf gives birth, and the first baby loaf is shot out of the sub.

While the sub rests, the dominant loaf cleans the newborn baby loafs.

This is where the only gender difference shows: the male loaf will feed the babies by secreting oil, similar to how a platypus secretes milk. The male will also take on the primary caregiver role. If there is no male in the relationship, the dominant loaf will care for the babies.

The dominant loaf will lay on top of the baby loafs and wait for them to fully form and develop in the nest.
