Jonouchi is up in the air on top of an airship, which already implies that he feels unstable in some way. When he finds out that he is up in the air his voice is more indignant than scared; fitting with Jonouchi's nature. He is not one to show fear in unexpected scenarios (except for ghosts).

while Jonouchi is sitting, Kaiba is standing on the top of the sirship with confidence. This is how Jonouchi sees Kaiba; a calm and collected person who cannot be fazed by anything. Where Jonouchi acts with passion, Kaiba is cool and calculating.

Kaiba taunts Jonouchi, which is something that Kaiba always does to Jonouchi to get a rise out of him. Kaiba's psychotic face (all Jonouchi's thoughts) also connects to how Jonouchi hates it when Kaiba does it but even when he knows that Kaiba is trying to get a rise out of him, he cannot help to respond to Kaiba

Jonouchi standing to meet Kaiba head on implies him rising up to accept Kaiba's challenge, whatever it may be. Jonouchi slipping and falling is indicative of how he looses to Kaiba. the fact that he slipped and fell, rather than something like Kaiba pushing him down shows us that on a subconcious level, Jonouchi believes that it is his fault that he lost.

but even when falling he is still vocal about his thoughts. even when he fails, he internalizes what happened and goes to try to fight Kaiba again. this defeat will not stop

TL;DR Jonouchi thinks of Kaiba as annoying but he help but react to him every single time, even if its to his detriment
