Sarada, teary eyed: Is mom my real mom?

Sasuke, confused as hell: Is she your real mom? What does that even mean??

Sarada: Is she really your wife? My mom?

Sasuke: Did someone say she isn’t my wife??? Who said she isn’t my wife?!

Sarada: What? No? I just found this picture of this woman with really similar glasses to me next to you. *hands picture*

Sasuke, again, confused as hell: You thought…this woman was your mother…because…she has…glasses like you??

Sarada, nodding: Well, and she’s standing next to you in the picture. I look a lot like you so it’s not like I look like mom.

Sasuke, astounded: *blink* *blink* Did you tell your mother about this?

Sarada, sheepish: Yeah…she got mad…and destroyed the house with a punch.

Sasuke: And that over dramatic response didn’t make you think she’s your mother?

Sarada: …no

Sasuke: I have one wife. I have one child. Both of these people, who I care deeply about, are going to give me an aneurysm. Sakura is your mother. The only person that was ever going to be your mother is Sakura. This has been an eye opening experience and clearly I need to come home more.

I love the idea of the new Genin Naruto episodes. Like of course I want to see the babies again, but I like that we have context of the future with this.

Like Naruto will be Hokage that is already decided, so when he claims he’s going to be Hokage, he’s RIGHT.

Or any (possible) Sasusaku moments. They are married and had a baby. Little genin Sakura who fawned over her crush, was actually fawning over her future husband and father of her child.

The hardest one is Sasuke, he was so stuck in his revenge and darkness as a little genin. I hope the episodes will lean more into the silly for him, I want to see the boy be happy.

I hope there will be some nudges about the future, like Hinata with Naruto and Sasuke and Sakura. We have the context so it would be funny to bring some subtleties from the future.

I love the idea of the time Sasusaku got to just be domestic after Sarada was born. Sasuke got to be a stay-at-home dad, while Sakura worked at the hospital.

Sasuke sitting on their couch, Sarada asleep on his chest as he’s reading scroll about one thing or another. Sakura leaving for work and kissing him goodbye and running her hand gently over Sarada’s little head. Sasuke takes Sakura her lunch everyday so that he can see her and Sarada can visit her mommy at work.

After work, Sakura plays with Sarada and cuddles with Sasuke. For the first few years, they got some domestic bliss.

I just saw a (WONDERFUL) cosplay of Sakura from when she went traveling with Sasuke and it reminded me of something.

Sasuke didn’t stand a single chance. When she put that fishnet-like material on the story was written. I wanna know the time stamp of when that man couldn’t keep his hands to himself anymore. I’d give him a month AT MOST, and that’s just because he’s stubborn.

Sakura and Sasuke returning to the village after their time away, Sarada tucked up under her mother’s cloak to keep her warm and out of the sun.

Naruto, sprinting up to the gates because he heard they were back: SASUKE, SAKURA! You guys are finally back! I have so much to tell you!

Sakura: I always told you we’d be back! Just had some detours along the way.

Sasuke, arm around Sakura’s shoulder being very protective husband and father: Be grateful we’re back as soon as we are.

Kakashi, having strolled up to greet his former students: We should be wishing you a congratulations, I received your request for a marriage certificate.

Naruto, pouting: Yeah! I can’t believe my best friends got married without me.

Sakura, blushing: We were traveling all over, it wasn’t sensible! Thank you all the same.

Sarada begins crying due to her mother’s shouting.

Naruto, looking around for Hinata and Boruto: Where’s that crying coming from? Hinata isn’t here. Oh, you guys gotta meet Boruto, he’s the coolest baby, y’know?

Sasuke, uncovering Sarada so Sakura can soothe her, he runs his hand over her hair: It’s Sarada, dobe.

Kakashi and Naruto: Sarada?!

Naruto: You guys had a baby? And didn’t tell ANYONE???

Sakura, sheepish: We wanted her to be a surprise?

Kakashi, smirking: You two clearly kept yourselves busy.

Sakura, blushing bright red: KAKASHI-SENSEI!

Naruto, grinning: She looks about Boruto’s age, they can be best friends! Maybe one day we’ll be in-laws! *Smirks at Sasuke*

Sasuke, glaring: Over my dead body, and probably yours too.

Naruto: My favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate, with like a BUNCH of candy.

Sakura: I like vanilla, it makes it easy to add stuff to it if I’m feeling it.

Naruto: How about you Sasuke?

Sasuke: Sakura.

Sakura: Yes?

Sasuke: No, my favorite flavor.

Naruto: Of ice cream?

Sasuke: No. It’s my favorite flavor. I enjoy it nightly.

Sakura, understanding: SASUKE! *blushing madly*

Naruto, NOT understanding: Really? You must really like it then!

Sasuke, looking at Sakura directly: Yes, it’s delicious.

Naruto, still very much not understanding: Can I try some?

Sasuke: You want to fucking die, dumbass?

Sasuke finding out he’s going to be a dad. I imagine he shed tears. He probably grabbed Sakura and hugged her for several minutes, crying. He probably felt he didn’t deserve Sakura, didn’t deserve to know what it felt like to be a father.

Sakura was startled at his response, surprised to see him so emotional openly in front of her. Sakura would gently cup his face in her hands and wipe at his tears, “You’re not the last Uchiha anymore.” She tearfully tells him, a big smile on her face.

Sasuke’s eyes widen and he places his hand on hers still holding his face. He grabs her hand and stands to move quickly. He drags her out of the little in they’re in, “Where are we going?” Sakura asks nervously. Sasuke moves faster and says “You’re an Uchiha too, I want your name to reflect it.” He says it like it’s totally obvious. “Is this your way of proposing???” Sakura yells followed by a breathless laugh. He drags her to the nearest possible shrine to ask for a ceremony.

And boom, they’re Mr. and Mrs. Uchiha, Sasuke sends the certificate to Konoha and swears Kakashi to silence. Unfortunately for Sasuke, he receives a package with all the Makeout Tactics books that he promptly chucks into the nearest body of water. When Sakura asks what they are he just says, “Reading material that we clearly don’t need.” Sasuke gently pats Sakura’s tummy in answer.

Sasuke’s favorite part of his birthday is just having a peaceful moment with his little family. He loves his girls.

But also the bomb birthday sex he is going to have with his wife, he looks forward to that too.

I’m sure Sakura puts on a brave/happy face whenever Sasuke’s home because she’s just so grateful to have the time that she does with him. There’s no room for tears when she’s blessed to have him even for a short while.

However, Sasuke can tell she’s sad and that she misses him. He had the utmost respect for her, caring for their daughter on her own for so long. Her faith in him forever unwavering even when they’re apart for long stretches of time. He brings it up some times when she’s laying her head on his chest in their bed.

Sasuke: You know it’s okay to be honest with me, right? You don’t always have to have a brave face on.

Sakura: I know that, but I don’t just keep it on for you. I keep it for Sarada and me. I’m happy to be laying in your arms right now. I try to live in the happy moments, not wallow in the sad ones. Plus, I know you don’t like to see me cry.

Sakura: Hn. *Kisses her forehead and tightens his arm around her*

Sakura: *Smiles and snuggles into his chest*
