Ok vague Jason thought but kid Jason in the wolf house and Lupa kills a kid and Jason is like oh that sucks but just another day in the Wolf House and Lupa is like well Jason aren’t you hungry and Jason is always hungry and Lupa is like well you have a meal right here dont you you are a wolf aren’t you and she’s dead. She was weak and you care for a weakling Jason? Do you want me to punish you!

And Jason is 3 and hungry and injured and he’ll starve to death but that’s another person but isn’t he a wolf and a weapon? And he needs food and she’s dead and it doesn’t matter right? Only the strongest survive and lupa will punish him if he doesn’t prove he’s strong and does it even matter that she’s dead because only the strongest survive so he eats her and tears away at her flesh and he feels nothing.

Genuinely VERY confused, why is the majority of the fandom blaming Jason for the downfall of his friendship with Reyna?

i legit came across like a handful of comments today like "Reyna deserved much better than dirtbag Jason, he was such a jerk to her, choosing Piper over her and not talking to her after he came back to camp jupiter"

like?? stop over victimizing Reyna in this situation, it isnt even that serious lmao its just teenage drama, she doesn't need pity for this. both Reyna AND Jason were accountable for their crumbling friendship, it wasnt all on Jason. Reyna made PLENTY of mistakes too they are LITERAL teenagers, stuff like this is normal ffs. She didn't send a search party after Jason to look for him, she never held a memorial service for him even after the camp basically thought he was dead, she never initiated a conversation with Jason either after he came back, and practically avoided him the entire time completely (she flat out avoided eye contact with him in BOO and intentionally ONLY acknowledged Piper who was standing next to him)

Also, Reyna did literally the same thing to Jason that people are bashing him for, The fandom's problem with him is that he shouldnt have developed feelings for piper bc it "betrays his connection" with Reyna. But anyone ever thought about how Reyna developed feelings for Percy almost immediately after he came to camp while simultaneously claiming that she longed for a relationship with jason? if you put it in the fandom's logic, Reyna too, was "unloyal" to Jason, since she did not hesitate in giving a random new boy her best friend's position.

you cant tell me she wouldnt have gotten with percy if he were single. be so fr rn. but apparently its completely alright if she moved on from jason with percy, but its illegal if jason moved on from reyna with piper, right? they owed eachother absolutely nothing. They were just friends.

Jason had no reason to even think reyna liked him that way since she canonically avoided him thoroughly after the whole venus mess. so no. Just bc Reyna wasnt upfront with her feelings for him, does NOT mean he "lead" her on.

how do you think Jason felt knowing he looked like Luke Kronos? how do you think this kid, this child who’d been raised to be a soldier, who is so fundamentally good and tries so hard, felt when he realized why the greek campers were uneasy around him.

not because he was roman. the greeks didn’t care about that. but because he was tall. lean. blond hair, blue eyes. facial scar. brotherly disposition.

someone who’d looked just like Jason had been a leader at this Camp. someone who’s looked just like Jason had been a brother here. someone who’d looked just like Jason had taken their trust and shredded it, had turned their siblings against them, had sabotaged their home, had caused so many deaths in his war to destroy Olympus, to be noticed by his father. (something Jason also desperately wants.)

Hera had sent Jason to replace Percy—the leader, the hero. but how was he meant to do that when all any of them could think when they looked at him was traitor?

I desperately need Jason going ape shit angry headcanons. We’ve seen Percy , we’ve seen a bit of Nico and I NEED TO SEE JASON. He’s the son of the angry man himself like I know Jason is seen as a calm and collected guy but I need him to snap. Like can you imagine the utter power he would exhibit, the fear he would induce like PLEASE. This is the guy who defeated a Titan by himself with only his fists (and sword) and I’m assuming he was calm collected Jason there too. Just imagine

I stand by my reasoning that the whole reason Jason is even a somewhat functional human being, is because of Dakota.

Not only were they in the same cohort but for a time Dakota was the 5th centurion. He was Jason's superior officer and mentor.

Soilder: And that's Jason, son of Jupiter and our best soilder.

Dakota seeing not a soilder but a stressed out kid, who's been put on a pedestal and doesn't even think he's human.

Dakota: You fucked up a perfectly good kid you did. Look at him he's got anxiety.

I like to think Dakota tried his best to be there for Jason. Despite not being much older than him and having his own problems.

The only people they had were each other and Dakota took his position seriously.
