To be honest, before my group’s fame, I’d only dreamed about one day performing with Far East Movement. They were one of my favorite international artists. Now that I’ve finally managed to.. Man. Feels amazing. That’s all I can say.

Keeping a proper and healthy lifestyle’s definitely a must and I do think that your song would help me get by the fatigue, aha. Don’t mention it, I was just stating facts. I’m glad that you’ve made it this far. Seeing young men like you achieve huge success such as this. . . ah, no words will ever be enough to explain such feeling. Keep it up, a’ight? Though I may seem old who only cares about books and art, alcohol and cigarettes -- which is partly true, by the way. . . I can say that you and your group’s versatile music can take you to places. From what I’ve observed, the lad didn’t purposely put a coin in the vending machine. He was probably hoping for a free drink, y’know? I would’ve called him out, flicked his forehead, even -- but I used to do that during internship days so I thought that I don’t have the right to pry. Well... I’m aware of the recent trends as of late. At least that’s what I think, aha. Some of my colleagues talk and gossip more than they work so them... doing that keeps me somehow updated. But ah... that wasn’t you? I’m mistaken this time around, then. And hey, that’s quite unfortunate for you to be dragged in another section but she may have thought that you’re more diligent and efficient than the ones under her care, so there you go. Though, that’s pretty much the real definition of hectic, specially if you have kids as your patients. Quite troublesome they are, eh? But it’s really, really fulfilling to deal with them, don’t you think? It’s not easy, but definitely worth it. I hope you’ll get the ample time for the break that you deserve in no time, kid. I can talk to the section leader if it gets out of hand.

Ahhh…..me? Forgetting to put a coin in the vending machine? No no you must have me mixed up with another student nurse hyungnim. Another with….pink hair. There’s quite a lot of us, you know kids these days and the trends. But if it was me having a fight with the wretched machine in the west wing it’s because the section leader in the west wing was practically screaming from the time I walked in. We’ve got quite a few Christmas accidents to attend to, couple kids touching gifts they shouldn’t….swallowing gifts they shouldn’t have. The whole fiasco. I’m taking breaks but she keeps finding me, I’m not even on duty for her side. Ah, to call for help would be cowardly but she’s practically breathing fire.

People have various opinions regarding the topic, but it was different for him. Being a doctor made him realize how powerful science is, and what death truly is. With that, he flashes a small smile, a genuine one. “Mhm... Your thoughts resemble you as a person in general. Imagining them in their own definition of happy place -- that’s not bad at all, I guess.”

( ; although she had this mischievous grin on her face, the opposite expression that was well apparent on the elder’s puts her in place; soon, it hits her that she shouldn’t be acting this informal towards him. ) seminar… seminar… i’m quite sure that one was cancelled— but wait—plaque?! ( ; now how could she take him seriously when he was making it so easy for her to make fun of the situation. she could’ve kept her thoughts to herself, really. but instead, she blurts out the first thing that pops in her mind in a form of a laugh. ) LIKE THE ONE ON YOUR TEETH? pffffft—you have those, professor..!?!

( / he actually didn’t mind, how she was blatantly treating him with less respect. it was a given, how he’s used to such behavior, specially around his patients within a certain age bracket. and so with that, he just deemed it to as something seemingly casual, as they are colleagues, afterall. ) mmmmm? ( / he jests, obviously doing so as to mock the younger. an amused expression strikes his facial features from then on -- however, he quirks an eyebrow whilst flashing quite a serious look upon hearing an important piece of information. ) stop right there, sueji-ssi. did i hear you right? the seminar was cancelled? and for the record, we both know that i’m talking about plaque... as in the golden doctor’s plaque. tsk, tsk. though, i gotta say, i saw that coming from you... well, sort of.

Ah, aren’t you that student nurse that I’ve bumped into a few days ago? You were so determined to get a drink from the vending machine even without depositing coins. Aha. Yes, I’ve seen it all. But mhm, I wonder what the reason is behind that overtime shift... Anyway, do well, young lad. Stay focused and treat your patients with hospitality intact. Don’t forget to take breaks in between if you have a few chances to do so, and most importantly, keep yourself hydrated.

Do strangers normally ask a lot of questions at first meetings? What does it mean?

That’s quite new since most people would only exchange hi’s, hello’s and how are you’s upon first meetings but if anything, there’s definitely one motive for doing so, and that is wanting to know that person more and well, see if a potential friendship can be sparked from then on. Oh, wait that’s two, aha. My math’s pretty bad and shaky... as expected of a health care professional. Anyway. You gotta start with the basics, y’know?

Someone claims to love me but I don't feel like they do I don't know if it's me wanting more or the lack of attention.

So I’m guessing that the feeling is mutual? Since you wouldn’t feel this way if it isn’t. Mmm, I don’t know much about love, since I pretty much spent almost my whole life memorizing medical terms and pathophysiological conditions – tending to patients as well, so I think that I won’t be much of help to you. However… I shall try my best. Well. For me, love alone will never be enough. Effort must be exerted, time must be given. A lot of couples break up due to the lack of these factors. If you feel like it’s sinking – whatever you have with them, if you want to save it, then beat around the bush no more and tell them how you feel. Voice it all out. You know, sometimes, unspoken words can change everything, so there you go. Who knows, they’re just probably too timid to express how they’re utterly into you. I’m quite bad this, aren’t I? Aha. I just hope that everything will go well for you.

It’d be quite hypocritical for me to give you an advice for this, since I, myself, have been constantly trying to battle with this kind of thoughts, too, as of late. It’s been tough for your old man these past few days as well. Though, dare I say, fret not. As they always say, live in the present -- in the moment. Don’t think ahead. For now, you must get enough sleep so you’ll be able to wake up with a smile tomorrow, and hopefully, with less fears and worries.

Definitely not a good combination, but hey, you’ll get by. Get yourself a healthy snack or two -- cook something that’s easy to prepare then indulge yourself with such a treat. Who knows, it might distract you from missing that certain someone. But if you’re still bothered by the mere thought of them. . . then maybe asking how they’re doing wouldn’t be a bad idea.
