Endlessly diabolical how you can't say words like rape and suicide uncensored without either being criticised by idiots or punished by conglomerates.

I have a controversial idea too. If you don't want people to do something, don't tell them to do it. You tell people that if they never go to school, they deserve to work for a poverty wage forever. Now you tell them that if they do go to school, they deserve to be in debt forever.
Here's another controversial idea. Going into debt to get an education shouldn't even be an option.

So I am sitting here playing solitaire on the Linkin Park website, and the computer LOST THE FOUR OF CLUBS! It literally is missing a card!

There is nowhere it could be hiding! The four of clubs is just not there!

I think we should write more straight relationships with 2010s TV queerbait tactics. Let that man and that woman's lives be horribly intertwined, let them take bullets for the other, let them be each other's meaning but NO KISSING. They are holding each other platonically. You're crazy for reading anything romantic into it at all tbh

"Punishment works!!!" We're drowning in three to four generations of people so pants-shittingly terrified of ever being wrong that half of everyone has constructed a worldview wherein they never even consider the possibility that they could be wrong and the other half behaves like one wrong move will make anything or anyone explode violently into a million irreperable pieces. I don't think it works guys

an ornithologist pointed a microphone at a bird sitting alone on a wire and caught the sound of the bird singing a song at a decibel so low that it would be impossible for another bird to hear it, meaning the bird was singing quietly to itself I love life

I asked one of my (male) friends to stop using the phrase “man up” and he has been using “fortify” for the past two weeks instead and it’s just a little thing but honestly it makes a difference
and tbh it’s also pretty funny when I start to deflate in the library and he leans over and goes “FORTIFY”

You know, when I feel this way, I really turn a lot of my attention toward my friendships. When I spend extra, intentional time with my friends, I’m reminded of how much I am deeply in love with them as well. But because that kind of love doesn’t come with monogamy-programming guilt, it’s easier for me to remind myself that I am choosing to have deep connections with many people.
And it’s easier to remind myself that it is lovely, and enriching, and good.
Sometimes I feel guilty for being (kinda?) poly, like I love someone, so fucking much, my love isn't fake or weak, but I also like the idea of liking two people at once. But I feel so fucking guilty for it, like I'm a cheater or not good enough for them even though I just have a romantic orientation
