Since Arcane has me in a chokehold again, I only thought it was appropriate to do a reblog of my Viktor fic.

Everyday

This is your everyday. An Arcane Viktor x Reader fic.

You breathed in deeply, waking from whatever dream you’d been having. Wiping your eyes as you exhaled and slowly turned to face him. His breathing was steady, pulsing. He was curled in a fetal position, hugging one of his legs to his chest. His brown hair had grown limp and listless, finding less and less time to groom himself in recent years. The bags under his eyes, prominent, and his body was failing him, making it even more difficult than it used to be. Your heart ached for him. You pulled yourself closer to his face, gently running a finger across his cheek, over his cracked lips. He seemed so delicate, but you knew he could deal with what life dealt him. With a sigh you rolled out of bed as carefully as you could, knowing he needed the rest.

Each day it seemed like you were waking earlier than the last. As Viktor’s health declined, the things you needed to do for him increased. You didn’t want to use the word chores. It was a terrible way to describe it. You were helping him, you always said. You loved him deeply, and he trusted you enough to believe you. But it never stopped the nagging in the back of his mind, the doubt.

The early morning sun shone through the curtains, spilling into your small apartment. You looked out the window onto the gleaming city. Progress. Since the invention of hextech, things were changing rapidly. Everything was. Viktor was changing. It felt like he was burying himself in more and more work. And if he wasn’t, he was disappearing to someplace or another, like he was trying to distance himself. Even from you, which hurt, because you were his solitude. The one he could hide in and hold when all the world seemed dark.

You hummed tuneless as you sliced an apple, placing each piece delicately on a plate. Viktor usually wasn’t one for large breakfasts, making up for it with a larger lunch and dinner. You walked into your shared room putting the plate on his bedside table before going back to your kitchenette for a glass of milk. After placing it next to the apple slices, you sat on the edge of the bed.

You shifted so you were facing his back, reaching to run your fingers through unruly hair. Your hand moved downwards to start tracing patterns across his back before leaning in and placing feathery kisses on the nape of his neck. He woke, slowly stretching his arms before turning to face you. Eyes still blurry, he brought a hand to your face, cupping your cheek softly.

“Good morning,” he croaked, voice froggy. You smiled, placing your hand on top of his, feeling his thumb twitch slightly underneath.

You gestured with your free hand to the apple slices and milk. Propping himself up Viktor began to eat while you drew the curtains back to let some light into the room.

“Nice dreams?”

“As nice as can be I suppose,” he paused, letting his eyes adjust to the morning sun. “You were in it.”

You turned your head slightly, letting out an inquisitive hum. His eyes were focused downward, staring at the dregs of his milk glass.

“I was chasing you. I was running.”

You didn’t need to see him to recognize the wistful longing. You walked over to the dresser at the end of your bed and picked out a pair of dark pants, underclothes and maroon dress shirt.

“So, did you catch me?” you asked, tossing the clothes to him.

His jaw tensed before replying “No.”

He was struggling with his pants when you brought the leg brace over to him. You waited patiently as he finished pulling up his pants and put on his shoes. Slipping the brace behind his leg and adjusting it so Viktor could put his foot into it. Then you double checked that the knee was properly aligned before securing each strap in place. When you were done you looked up at him, kneeling from between his legs. His eyes softening when they met yours, titling his head to one side. Viktor bit his lip as you went to hold his hand, lacing your fingers together, giving you a squeeze before sighing dejectedly.

This was your everyday.

“I’m sorry,” he said. “I feel so, just— so selfish.” He sighed running a hand through his hair. Life was getting to him, the doubt. When he felt broken, it broke you too. It was a sorrow too deep for tears. He looked away from you, guilt writ plain on his face. “You could be doing so much more.”

“Hey,” you reached up to cup his face, gently turning it back to you, running a thumb under a lidded eye.

“You trust me?” you asked. He nodded. “Then you know I’m not lying when I say I’d do this forever. For you.” You leaned up towards him. “For us. I love you, Viktor.” Craning your neck, you placed a kiss on his knee, in between the metal of the brace, eliciting a soft hum from him.

“I know. I love you too.”

“You’re my everything.”

This was your everyday, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Arcane Stuff and Vi

I saw a bunch of people upset about Vi becoming an enforcer, but specifically the ‘I don’t give a fuck about league or lore they can’t do this to Vi’ crowd.

The thing is, Arcane has become canon, and because of that, I imagine they’re going to have to align Vi more closely with what she is in game. On the game end, maybe they change her voice lines, possibly give her a VGU and bring her story more in line with what she is in Arcane. I wouldn’t stake my life on it. The thing is Vi is first and foremost a League character, and as much as people hate the lore (which honestly is pretty cool) and League, that can’t change that they’re intrinsically linked.

Not sure if you're still doing asks, but maybe could you do some headcannons of Aric Jorgan romancing a male trooper?

This is a little new for Jorgan. He's never really experimented at all, and before he met you, he always assumed he'd end up finding a nice girl and settle down eventually.

But eventually never happened, too dedicated to his career so he just didn't have time for that sort of stuff, is what he told himself.

Then you came along, and turned his whole world upside down. Jorgan would try his best for as long as he could to hide his feelings behind his gruff exterior.

After many missions with you, surviving in the most hostile environments, he finally cracks and asks you out. "You, me, drink after this?" All right before you charge into the thick of it. You wouldn't dream of missing it.

He's so proud of you, both as CO of Havoc and his boyfriend and will defend you and your relationship tooth and nail.

Nadia Grell Headcanons

Nadia is new to the relationship scene, which makers her very eager to please, but also very nervous.

You might have to tell her to slow down, as she's going to be going full speed ahead out of excitement to try as many of the things she's seen couples do.

Nadia will often worry if she's doing enough for you too, she wants to prove herself, to show she knows what she's doing. Remind her to relax every so often, to let her know she is safe and not rushed, and to breath.

She loves to read overly sappy poems and songs of love to you, and likes to imagine you both are in a love story of your own.

Her favourite things are the domestic moments. When you cook together, or clean, or laugh over a silly holovid. Moments when she knows she's made a new home for herself out in the galaxy.

Scourge Headcanons

Gotta say, I love the nickname. Great Noble One Sev has a ring to it.

Scourge is still getting used to his new emotions. He feels everything vividly and it can be difficult to handle, for both himself and others around him.

You guys like to blow off steam together. Going for walks, sparring, and some, uh, other activietes. Though if you're the angry one he'll act holier than thou, and lord it over you.

He often tries to play it off like he still doesn't have these intense emotions, but behind closed doors everything comes out.

Scourge is extremely passionate (and intense), letting a lot of it show through touch.

He can also be surprisingly eloquent when the mood strikes him too. The mood has only ever struck twice.

Bonus:

My personal headcanon is that during the main story he was down to being in an uneasy allies with benefits type of relationship.

Took forever cause I got busy with life. And BG3. Hee hee sorry? Anyways give me Swtor questions or asks, anon is turned on for the more cowardly of us (me included). Guaranteed to get back to you within less than a year!

“Mm” Lana sighed, into the crook of Thaxal’s neck. “I’m not doing this again.”

“It’s only one month left, besides you have me. Arguably the most powerful being in the galaxy,” Thaxal said, bringing her hand to rest upon Lana’s swollen belly.

Lana rolled her eyes, allowing herself a small smile. “Oh, of course, what would I have ever done without your ego?”

Swtor Companions: Cuddling (Xpacs)

You and Theron are both exhausted when you have the time to cuddle, you both fall asleep almost instantly. Cuddling for you just turns into one of you draping all their limbs on the other.

When feeling particularly stressed, Lana will come up behind you and just wrap her arms around you. She’ll cuddle you on the spot, so long as no prying eyes are around to see her being soft.

Koth will try to cuddle you for as long as possible, which is until he falls asleep. Then he needs his own space. Outside of that, you’re his personal body pillow to cuddle.

Arcann just wants to be held. He loves just resting his head against your chest and following along with your breathing. It’s therapeutic.

Swtor Companions: Cuddling (Imp)

Vette loves to cuddle! But she has really cold feet. She loves pressing them up against you, and it cracks her up if she can get a reaction out of you.

Quinn is your big spoon. It’s one of the only times when he feels like the powerful one in your relationship.

Jaesa wraps her limbs around you like some eldritch horror and will not let go. Not until you have her permission.

Jaesa likes to nuzzle into you, taking you in. She likes feeling so close like you’re both apart of each other. It gives her a sense of peace. When she feels doubtful, all she needs to do is tap into your emotions to feel safe.

Andronikos is a grumpy cuddler. If you move around too much while cuddling, he’ll pin you down by just lying on top of you.

Ashara always thought that cuddling was so romantic, only to find that it’s kinda gross and sweaty. She’ll cuddle with you for a while, but as soon as her hands get unbearably clammy she’s out.

He’ll pick you up and carry you around bridal style, but Khem won’t be lying down to cuddle. It’s just not his thing.

Despite her best efforts, Mako just can’t seem to stay still long enough to cuddle. She’ll always end up finding a way to move around, be it playing footsies with you, or just tossing and turning.

Cuddling is intimate for Torian, you’re 100% pressed up against each other, revelling in the feeling of flesh, of being soft and without armor.

Kaliyo will tell you to FO if you try to cuddle her.

Vector likes cuddling because he can tune into all your little biological functions. He likes when you just lie on top of him, and he’ll just listen to it all.

One of Temple’s dream scenarios is actually getting stranded with you on an ice planet and having to spoon cuddle for warmth. The thought of being your little spoon just makes her blush.

Swtor Companions: Cuddling (Pub)

Kira likes cuddling, but only for a bit. After a while she needs some space. She’s more of a kisser, so expect a lot of kissing coming with those cuddles too.

Doc is happy to indulge in all forms of physical contact with you. He likes spooning, especially because spooning leads to forking. Expect a lot of roaming hands.

He will claim he has no time for cuddling, but Scourge always finds obscure excuses to do so anyways. Also, Scourge is kinda a furnace, so expect to come out of cuddles a little sweaty.

Felix likes to cuddle, and he likes tracing things on your back while cuddling, or rubbing your scalp. If you have long enough hair, he’ll try and braid it, even if he’s not particularly good at it.

Nadia loves to cuddle with you for as long as possible, holding onto you like a koala. Every time you have to get up, she always lets out the cutest cry of distress, reaching for you in the hope that you’ll come back.

The closest you’ll get to cuddling from Zenith is him slinging an arm around your shoulders.

A little clingy, but Corso likes to cuddle with you as much as he can. Which is great if you love it too, but annoying if you need space. He’ll also cuddle you in his sleep, which is nice at first, but bad when you realize you can’t move around.

Risha isn’t big on cuddling. If you whine enough, she will indulge you occasionally, letting you rest your head on her chest or lap while browsing the holonet.

Like kissing, cuddling makes Akaavi feel vulnerable. When you cuddle with her, she is letting you in and putting her trust in you. She likes to reach out and stroke your face when cuddling.

Jorgan would rather do other thing. However, if you can convince him to, and while cuddling scritch his back, he will purr for you.

Dorne likes cuddling and talking. She likes hearing you talk while being held by you. Sometimes she’ll drift off listening to you go on about your day.

Arcann Romance Headcanons

He is a really big softie, and he feels his emotions deeply, whether it be love, anger or sadness. Be there for him when his anger needs to be calmed, or his sadness needs some comfort.

Speaking of softies, he also loves cuddling! Or really any acts of physical intimacy. He really likes touching foreheads with you. Or if you caress his face, he’ll sigh into it.

He actually would really like sparring with you if you’re into it. It’s a good way to blow off steam, and in more than one way.

Arcann isn’t really one for the more traditional romantic gestures. He prefers it all without much frill and pretence.

Arcann is very hesitant at first in your relationship, questioning whether he really deserves this after everything. He sometimes gets insecure around others. He thinks they might be judging him, but more importantly, they might be judging you for choosing him.

Very much in love with you. He admires you greatly, and knows he’ll never hold a candle to what you’re capable of. He does everything he can to support you, especially in little ways.

He’s often bringing you caf/tea, offering a quick shoulder massage or bringing you snacks.

Tries his best to be romantic, but he misses the mark sometimes, saying things that come off more awkward than endearing. But by now, you’re used to it.

If you’re feeling under the weather, you need only ask, and Vector will just hold you. For as long as you need.

Vector would love to share a connection through the Killik Hive with you. To feel your emotions. To know you in a way he never could otherwise. But that’s just it, he never can, because then it wouldn’t be you.

Lana Beniko’s Ideal Date

Lana is a busy woman, so she doesn’t find a lot of time for dates, much less idly musing about date ideas.

She’s definitely the type to bring you along while doing some errands, and call it a date. You’re in her general vicinity, it pretty much is one, right?

But if she had to choose an ideal date, with nothing else to worry about, her first priority is that it has to be peaceful.

Secondly, she likes going on dates that have nice scenery, especially if it’s out in nature.

Her mind may wander back to tasks that need finishing, so having a peaceful and scenic setting for a date is ideal.

Lana’s ideal dates are away from all the chaos of your lives. It let’s her relax and feel closer to you.

Most dates with her are impromptu, because if you left it up to her, she’d spend more time planning than actually enjoying the date.

Swtor Companions: Kissing (Xpacs)

I’m lazy. Sorry. Also give me Swtor writing ideas in the ask box. (I have anon on so you won’t be embarrassed.)

Theron likes kissing you while cuddling. He likes to put a hand on your hip, hair, whatever he can get at. He likes his kisses gentle and intimate.

For Lana, acts intimacy are things only done in private. She has, however come to tolerate a modicum of PDA. When alone, she’ll channel her passion and love for you, and you’ll find her kisses can be surprisingly tender.

Koth is considerably more relaxed about kissing. He’ll greet you with a peck on the cheek, or kiss you deeply after a particularly dangerous mission. They’re almost a language with him.

Kissing makes Arcann feel validated. After everything he’s done, sometimes he can’t look himself in the mirror. But when you, of all people, kiss him, his heart soars. To be loved and kissed and hugged, reminds him that he has a home: you.
