Ough. We haven't used this blog because we realized we weren't (purely) fictionkin, we have DID 😭 We're a CDD system..

Just wanted to post this to clear the air since we haven't used this blog in a few eons now. It's also why our kinlist link disappeared off the blog a while ago (we took down the link once we started fully accepting the DID)

Our fictionkin beliefs did end up getting us through a lot, and I think--for us specifically--it really did help us ease into learning we're a system! We have really solid communication, and working towards functional multiplicity has been relatively smooth (as smooth as you can get with two decades of trauma to work through, at least).. But we have left behind our fictionkin beliefs--at least, we left behind the style we were categorizing them in a few years ago.

It helped with our healing a few years ago, but it's not perfect, and it wasn't helping with our healing now. Now that we've accepted our DID, we are safe to acknowledge what is going on in our brain and why, without having to view it through such a heavy substitute-lens, which is essentially what our fictionkin identity (and the way we were viewing our otherkin identity) was. Still vibe with being alterhuman overall though

Not sure if anyone was following this blog that didn't already follow a different blog, but like, just in case anyone was curious, that's where we went

My friends and I decided to start up a general kin server where otherkin and fictionkin people (as well as others from fictional sources! Such as fictionhearted, synpath, etc.) can meet each other, share experiences, and make friends!
