This is another version of that choker, with a silver UFO pendant and a different iridescent PU leather material. Available here:

This didn’t involve sewing, but was fun to make. You can get it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/560322418/alien-ufo-holographic-choker-necklace

This week I made shiny panties.

I purchased a small piece of this fabric a while ago to make a shirt. Yesterday I used the remnants of it to make these really shiny panties. They are surprisingly easy to make. I listed them on etsy, and have enough fabric for one more pair. =]

This little thing is available on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/571479551/holographic-iridescent-stripe-zipper
A small and quick project that I did last night. I upcycled a zipper with handle from an old coin purse that was completely falling apart and I used up a few fabric/PU leather scraps that were left behind from a jacket that I made a while ago. I lined the inside with the same material that lines my jacket, a satin polyester. I feel that I am still sort of struggling with attaching the zipper. It always looks messy at one of the ends. If anyone has zipper pouch tutorials, send them my way, please. =]

Available here:  https://www.etsy.com/listing/569655457/holographic-iridescent-cloud-t-shirt
Not much of a sewing project. A pretty simple modification of a store-bought shirt with a shiny iridescent cloud.
I cutout the cloud droplets from the iridescent PU leather and embroidered a face onto the cloud by hand. The cloud and the droplets were then attached to shirt by securing the cloud at four points with small hand stitches, and the droplets at the top with small hand stitches. The rest of the assembly was done with a sewing machine, going very very slowly, using a straight stitch.
My mom bought this pink t-shirt in 2004, but I never wore it, so I finally decided to make something more interesting out of it.
