I grew up on a small farm in northeast Wisconsin and one of my many many chores was emptying the compost located at the edge of a field, usually through 5 feet of snow. I hated it. So here I am, 30 plus years after leaving the farm starting to compost again. But this time I get to place the bucket on my front porch and then once a month will get garden-ready compost delivered).
